    Probly no-one else will be interested in this, but here is a pro wrastling vid. I watch a lot of them. Not the actual matches so much, as the behind-the-scenes-experts talkin about them.

    The reason I’m fascinated by pro wrestling is that its exactly like politics. (not ‘policy politics’ but packaging politics) Same kinds of methods and thot-processes are goin on. The wrastling execs know they are selling a ‘fake’ product but they know the peepulz dont really wanna know that its fake. They wanna believe. And then theres the issue of regional differences. What works in one region wont work in another. And then there’s the dynamic where the execs have to ‘create bad guys’ and they have to create good guys, and how do you ‘do that’, etc. And there’s the focus on keeping in touch with ‘what people really want’ etc.

    I could go on about this, but if you watch this you might get a feel for what I’m talkin about.
