Rams, as per usual, are favored: by 2.5 points.

Bills fine WR was injured in the Pats game, with a shoulder issue.

Ed Oliver the DL had a knee issue in that game.

Dee Alford, CB, had an ankle issue in the Pats game. And Te’Cory Couch, the DB, had a hamstring problem in the pats game.

Screenshot of the final Box Score, from the future:

In the present, Stafford has 6 TDs and 6 INTs. Josh Allen 6 TDs and 3 INTs.
Stafford QB rating 80. Josh Allen 100.
Yards per attempt: Stafford 7.3. Josh Allen 8.7.
Rushing yards: Stafford 21. Josh Allen 118.

In the future, in the year 2055, I believe Matt Stafford and Josh Allen will be surviving underground, hiding from deadly toxic chemicals, and radiation-mutants.

Fwiw, the Rams Defense is 2nd in the NFL in total yards allowed. The Bills defense is ranked 27th.

    (Seahawks are 1st. 49ers 7th. Cardinals 25th )

One man’s take on Josh Allen.

If Allen continues on his track this year, and Stafford continues on his this year,
we may see about six turnovers in the Monday night game.

“Its gotta be on the board, that at 38, Stafford has just lost it”

There’s mention of a big Sando article on the Rams.

Bills have 7 Turnovers in four games. 7 in the last two games. (zero, zero, five, two)

Rams have 8 turnovers in four games. (two, two, two, two)

Bills have been inconsistently sloppy ; the Rams have been consistently sloppy.

It’s worth absolutely nothing, since my gut instincts are wrong more often than right, but I have a feeling Stafford will shut that narrative up on Monday.

4 obstacles Bills fans should watch out for in Week 5 vs. Rams
The Bills are in for some challenges against the Rams.

The Buffalo Bills face a tough task on Monday Night Football as superstar quarterbacks Josh Allen and the Rams’ Matthew Stafford go toe-to-toe in front of a national audience at SoFi Stadium.

The Bills enter the contest with concerns to their secondary, making it even harder for them to cover both wide receivers, Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, from lighting up the Rams’ side of the scoreboard.

While the extra day of preparation and recovery before Monday night could help the Bills, here are four things Bills Mafia should still be aware of as they face the Rams in Week 5.

4 hurdles Bills must overcome before playing Rams in primetime

1.) Can Bills offense keep pace?

Last week, against the New England Patriots, the Bills abandoned what has worked for them since last year. The first three weeks of the season saw the Bills run their go-to 12-to-13 personnel sets (multiple tight ends), which allowed James Cook and the running game to get going and also allowed the Bills to throw to their budding superstar tight end, Dalton Kincaid.

Instead, they ran 11 personnel (1 running back and 1 tight end) to spread the defense out against a team that blitzes at the second-highest rate in the NFL, only behind the Minnesota Vikings.

Although the Rams’ defense is stout against opposing tight ends, the Bills should return to running what’s been working for them, and if it doesn’t work, switch to 11 personnel in-game. Both the Rams and Bills run 12- to 13-personnel more than any team in the league since they keep extra tight ends on their roster and carry no traditional fullback.

    2.) Rams boast prolific offense

If the Bills thought New England’s offense had a good game against their secondary, they haven’t seen the Rams’ high-flying offense in a regular-season game since Dec. 8, 2024, when the Rams won a 44-42 thriller at SoFi Stadium. Both offenses are electric, especially when their quarterbacks are healthy, and both feature quality wide receivers on the field.

The Bills boast D.J. Moore, Keon Coleman, and even tight end Dalton Kincaid as their premier pass catchers, but the Rams arguably have the best 1-2 punch at receiver in Adams and a healthy Nacua. This spells trouble for a Bills secondary already decimated by injuries and hampered by a poor final-minute performance in their 29-26 loss to the New England Patriots.

The Bills’ strength is their front seven, which has improved in both sacking the quarterback and stopping the run. The Bills can keep relying on them by pressuring Stafford all night.

If they keep performing well with the front seven, they can force the Rams to punt on fourth down, taking pressure off their secondary to cover Adams and Nacua one-on-one. It’s refreshing to see a Bills defense that relies on its front seven to put pressure on opposing offenses, while seeing DC Jim Leonhard reward their depth players, especially T.J. Parker, with a bigger role as a rookie.

    3.) Injury concerns on defense

The Bills are hurting from multiple injuries, mainly in the secondary, and have little depth to plug in and play key starters. Christian Benford missed Week 4 with a toe injury that he will have to potentially deal with it for the rest of the season. Dee Alford went out in Week 4 and was replaced by safety Damar Hamlin, who had never played nickel corner.

If the Bills’ defense wants to help the team beat the Rams, they will have to rely on their front seven to pressure the quarterback and stop the run as they have done in the past.

    4.) National spotlight focus

The Rams are back on the rise this season after a huge comeback win over a Philadelphia Eagles team that is not looking great at all this season. However, Eagles running back Saquan Barkley left the game with a knee injury, offensive lineman Lane Johnson recently retired, and Cam Jurgens was traded to the Baltimore Ravens for multiple draft picks.

Still, it’s a parity-driven league, and the Bills are now 3-1 after losing to their divisional rival, the New England Patriots, 29-26, making the Bills’ need to bounce back even more relevant.

But could the pressure of playing in front of a national audience on a Monday night be too much for the team to handle?

offensive tds scored and allowed per drive.

the rams are scoring 1 td every 4.3 drives on avg, a middle of the pack rate, while the bills are giving up 1 td every 3.2 drives, only 5 defenses are giving up tds at a higher rate.

let’s score some points monday night!

According to Nick Wright: “when an east coast team, travels to play a west coast team, in prime-time – the West Coast Team has won eleven straight. (and covered ten of eleven with one push)
