Rams defense, 3rd in fewest yards, 12 in fewest points allowed … and that includes the 6 points on pick 6, so really a top-10 scoring defense
Flaws? Yes, but not a defense that deserves the coach being fired.
To me, this distinction is based on the fact that KW is more elite behind the LOS looking where to take the run, whereas BC is more dependent on the blocking itself. KC sees subtleties KC doesn’t. Though that’s not to write off BC, who has more elusivenss past the LOS than KW does.

The Rams have now blown 3 leads of 16-plus points since the start of 2025 after blowing just 4 such leads in the previous 25 years.
Nice to hear #Rams CB Trent McDuffie be honest about the Defense's performance VS #Broncos.
One thing that stands out to me, is his quick mention of wanting to be more aggressive with dialing up Blitz Packages instead of running Zone Coverage a lot in the 2nd Half.

Rams special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone said Xavier Smith has been “inconsistent” in the return game thru 3 weeks. “We need to do a better job of tracking the ball, judging the ball, fielding the ball.” Says there’s no consideration of a change at returner

Sigh. That is what training camp and preseason is for.
I’m starting to think its just impossible for the Rams to find topnotch special teams players.
