So now it looks like we have to question the competence of the equipment people.
When you can’t do the simple stuff right, the competence of everything comes into question.

Before Stanton comes in, 18 pass attempts to 7 run attempts. Balanced in the first drive, where we moved the ball with a mix of the run and short to Middle passes to TEs, Fitz and Jaron. We miss a FG, go down by three, and BA reverts to his reflexive pass heavy offense. This despite the fact we clearly don’t have the Oline for holding on to the ball. This despite the Rams known pass rush and poor season vs the run. Leads to sacks. Leads to the INT.
We saw a path to success last week. I said we could continue that success if BA could resist the urge to veer away from that path. He could not. All it took was a 3 point lead by the Rams.
For as long as I can remember, Our games against the Rams usually ends up with major injuries especially our QBs.

Oh calm down. The players on the field will never try to lose (even if it looks like they are trying)….because the injury risk is too high to play at anything less than 100% and the roster turnover is too high…they are all trying out for a new team next year.
The post was correct that we had no business winning those 2 games because we were outplayed in both.
If your fans and your FO want to fight tooth and nail to end every season 6-10 or 7-9….then you are Jeff Fischer…and YOU are a loser.

Couldn’t stand anymore. Have to pick up leaves…just a few observations from what I saw.
1. Great move to go get Phil Dawson, he’s clutch.
2. Dkemdiche…way to jump off sides and make a third and long, in to a third and short, and the Ram’s drive the length of the field. Pretty sure we can put the “bust” label on him now.
3. Jared Goff’s uniform is very white…no pressure.
4. The honey badger is as slow as Pooh Bear
5. Oh yeah…our special teams suck (see Phil Dawson). Kick coverage is awful.

Cards embarrass themselves nationally and, now, internationally. If the greedy NFL could figure a way to play football in space, the Cards would embarrass themselves universally.
