FINAL SCORE: Los Angeles Rams improve to 3-1 with a 35-30 win in Dallas, snapping 8-game reg season home win streak @CVRamsClub #LARvsDAL

Rams did a lot of kicking, but it wasn’t Johnny Hekker. Zuerlein’s 7 FGs means Rams scored on 9 of 11 possessions. @CVRamsClub #LAvsDal

Rams were down 17-6 and 24-13 in the first half.

Asked about Zuerlein, McVay says “Wow, he’s won the game today. He’s Mr. Automatic. He just got a game ball.” #LAvsDal

McVay says Greg Zuerlein and Wade Phillips earned game balls in the locker room after the win.

On Rams radio broadcast, McVay credits defense for turning game around. “They got the dub for us.”

Todd Gurley had 215 yards from scrimmage (121 rushing on 23 carries, 7 catches for 94 yards). TD catch.

Such a big win for the Rams. First big test of the season — on the road against a talented Cowboys team — and they come through. Offense looked really good, even though they had to settle for too many field goals, and the defense stepped up in the second half. This year’s 3-1 feels a lot different than last year’s 3-1.

We’re going to hear a lot this week about how the #Rams were 3-1 last year, too. But this 3-1 is barely comparable. Team is so much better.

Nice second half adjustments @sonofbum great win for @RamsNFL safe travels home.

    #LARams win the 3Q by a 10-0 score and a 146-41 yardage margin. #LAvsDAL

Jared Goff just said the 54-yard TD pass to Todd Gurley was a play the #Rams put in on Monday

FYI: #Rams Jared Goff did lose sound in his helmet from McVay in the 1st half so adjustments were made to deal w/it. It did throw timing off

    Julia Faron‏ @JFaron
Zuerlein’s seven field goals are a franchise record. The previous record was six (Jeff Wilkins, vs. Denver 9/10/06).

Zuerlein scored 23 points (seven field goals and two points after touchdown), which is the second-highest total for a Ram in a single game.

    Nathan Jahnke‏ @PFF_NateJahnke
Andrew Whitworth has now played 4 games with the Rams, and has still only allowed just 1 pressure.

    Henry Ellard‏ @EllardHop85
Impressive win by the Rams in Dallas! It’s still early but I’m starting to believe this team has a chance to do something this year.

    Eugene Sims‏ @EugeneSims2
Did you see them boys?! And I ain’t talking about them cowboys😂 #proudofmybros

    Joe Curley‏ @vcsjoecurley
“It is four games and we have 12 left that we know of for sure.” — McVay

“Can’t say enough about Jared in crunch time.” — McVay

    Alden Gonzalez‏ @Alden_Gonzalez
Rams DT Aaron Donald: “We keep playing like this, we’re going to do some special things.”

    Rich Hammond @Rich_Hammond
Tavon Austin: “He worked us to death in practice. If anyone knows Coach Sean, he demands perfection. That’s what I like about him.”

The Rams are 1-0 all time in blue/white helmets and blue/gold jerseys.

Rams allowed 6 points and 153 yards in the second half and somehow the “Fire Wade Phillips” tweets in my @ vanished.

    Mark Whicker‏ @MWhicker03LANG
The play-calling is better, yes, and so are the WRs, but it doesn’t mean zip without the OL. Lawrence was invisible today for Dallas.

    J.B. Long @JB_Long
Held without a receiving TD in his 1st two seasons, @TG3II now the first @RamsNFL RB with one in 3 straight games since @marshallfaulk 2001.

Tale of 2 halves for @RamsNFL defense
    1st: 24pts, 287 yds, 18:00 DAL possession
    2nd: 6pts, 125 yds, 11:28 DAL possession
    Start of something?

From ESPN Stats & Info: Gurley faced 6 or fewer defenders in the box on 16 of 23 rushing attempts. Defenses are starting to respect Goff.

    Vincent Bonsignore‏ @DailyNewsVinny
#Rams fans: Les Snead deserves a ton of credit. He & McVay nailed free agency/draft. They flipped script in 1 off season. That’s impressive

    Rich Hammond‏ @Rich_Hammond
Very true. Havenstein vs. Lawrence could have been a disaster for Rams.
