Well. That was not what I expected.

The Super-Team, is apparently, a last place team. I’m sure Vegas still thinks they are super bowl favorites though.

    SF 5-0
    Seattle 3-3
    Ariz 2-4
    Rams 2-4

Losing at home to one of the worst teams in the league, a team missing their star rookie running back is a regular season low point in the McVay era. It was a total team loss. The Rams had no response to Arizona’s blitzes. McVay knew he wouldn’t have Jackson at LT and it’s like he expected that it didn’t matter. The defense held them to field goals but Arizona moved the ball without much difficulty all game.

The Rams will not get a wildcard and I don’t think they even finish the year with a winning record. The eventual return of Myles Garrett will move the needle enough.

And another thing!!!!!!! I thought kicking it through the endzone after the go ahead score was the right move. The coverage unit is clearly not to be trusted. That said, it put Arizona only 30ish yards away from FG range. The Cards were then in FG range after one play. Why is it so impossible for this organization to assemble a competent special teams unit??!

    Disgusting.

I have no idea what to expect against the Raiders. Before the season started that looked like an easy win. Now, no idea. A crippled Eagles team gave them all they could handle, and they just lost to one of the league’s worst teams.

OTOH, they hung with the Bills and Broncos, and could have won both of those games. And could have won today in spite of being outplayed.

There really haven’t been any high points this season, though. This kinda sucks, really.
