ZooeyModeratorYou know, if Brady announces his retirement prior to the Super Bowl, or the day after it, I’m gonna throw another Unsportsmanlike Conduct flag on him.
ZooeyModerator
ZooeyModeratorI should add that I am very much hoping that the Rams win, and if they don’t, I will be rather unhappy.
ZooeyModeratorI will always remember his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. w v
I cannot possibly hope to see a better comment about Tom Brady.
I declare you the winner.
ZooeyModeratorBill Barnwell@billbarnwellI was in high school the last time the NFL was without Tom Brady.Enh. So was I.
Still am.
ZooeyModeratorThe people have spoken.Β Most fans want to see Chiefs vs Rams.
I want the Rams and Bengals.
And since I am 10/10 so far in my wishes this post-season, I fully expect to be 12/12 after Sunday, and 13/13 after the Super Bowl.
ZooeyModeratorThe fact that Ramsβ DC Raheem Morris believes his squad will be more physical than the biggest bullies in the league is comical Iβm sure George Kittle has some pancakes saved for Von Miller & the Rams on Sunday
Give me an H! Give me a U! Give me a B! Give me an R! Give me an I! Give me an S!
WHAT DOES THAT SPELL?!
ZooeyModeratorSo far, I like Scott about 100x better than Rapp, anyway. Van J out is a problem.
Rams head coach Sean McVay said LB Ernest Jones and OL Andrew Whitworth will be good to go for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the 49ers.
WR Van Jefferson and S Taylor Rapp will be questionable.

ZooeyModeratorDeebo no long listed on the injury list at CBS.
Trent Williams is still Questionable, and did not practice yesterday. FWIW.
ZooeyModeratorI would be shocked if McVay retired.
Right after getting his QB? And winning?
I don’t think so.
ZooeyModeratorSean McVay is now 5-3 in the playoffs, making him the all-time leader in playoff wins in Rams’ history going into the NFC Championship this weekend.
I still just find that hard to believe.
FWIW, Mike Florio thinks McVay will retire if he wins the Super Bowl this year.

ZooeyModeratorWhatever.
The game is decided on the field, not in the stands, regardless of what fans think.
ZooeyModeratorI think Simms is pretty good here.

ZooeyModeratorIf u skip to the 23:39 mark of the vid, there is a truly remarkable graphic.
The video is only 9:43 long.
ZooeyModeratorAaron Donald vs. 49ers
2018-19: 8.5 sacks, 11 TFL, 13 QB hits (4 games)
2020-21: 1 sack, 4 TFL, 6 QB hits (4 games)
49ers have found ways to slow him down the last two seasons. Rams would love to see a vintage AD performance on Sunday.

ZooeyModeratorLet us pray π Summoning the spirit of Saint Roman Gabriel, the Niner Slayer. Please help bring us victory this Sunday. Amen. (yes, I know he's still alive) #RamsHouse pic.twitter.com/tilyfgBE6G

ZooeyModeratorNotice that this New York Times article only quotes one ordinary person. And the person they chose is pro-police. One good way to mislead wealthy readers about what ordinary people want is to carefully choose whose voices are inserted into stories. https://t.co/CENsBmmFcm

ZooeyModeratorLast Sunday the RamsΒ and Stafford did what Tom Brady and the Patriots did to the Rams in Super Bowl 36.
Yes.
ZooeyModerator- 70 and 79 are a lot closer on the keyboard than they are in real life.
ZooeyModeratorBTW I read somewhere (or heard) that there has never been an entire playoff season that had 4 games end on the last play. Last weekend, all 4 did.
Also, got to thinking how much this game must have hurt Bucs fans. You know, when your team is losing the entire game, you start to reconcile yourself to the defeat well before it is over. To go through what they did – reconciling themselves to defeat – only to have actual real life hope that they would win after all – only to have it ripped away from them…man. Bucs fans have to hate that. And any of them as old as we are that saw 70 and 99 and 22…they must not like the Rams a lot.
ZooeyModeratorBreyer’s role in prison “reform.”
THREAD: Today you will hear a lot of glowing discussion about Justice Breyer. This is a different story–one about how a fraud by Breyer led to one of the greatest increases in human caging in modern world history. What he did to so many families is important to know.

ZooeyModeratorLos Angeles had no football team for 20 years.
Many Rams fans were pissed, and opted out of “following” them to St. Louis, and picked another team. An entire generation grew up with no team around, and they have picked another team, or grown up agnostic about football.
It will take a decade or two, I would think. A Super Bowl victory would help.
As far as attendance goes, the tickets are expensive. I think when you have Paris Hilton going to games, you aren’t going to get the same level of noise. I don’t know the demographics of all the ticket buyers, but I think that price point probably leads to a more casual fan who is attending for motives beyond love of the game. Just speculating, though.
ZooeyModeratorSF has scored zero TDs on offense in their last 13 drives, going back to the middle of the 3rd Q against Dallas.
