Who should the Rams take in the 2019 NFL Draft? Will they stay at 31 or trade back to accumulate more picks? I explore a few trade partners (Denver & Washington) in case there’s a rush on first round QBs and the valuable fifth-year option.

I have them taking a defensive lineman at 31, but wouldn’t be surprised if they took a CB that fell, or went with an offensive lineman.

Do they take a space-eater in Lawrence, a pass-rusher like Tillery or punt on 2019 with blue chip, but injured Jeffrey Simmons?

Khalen Saunders would be a great fit in round three along with a CB. Have you seen his backflips?

Speaking of CB’s, David Long, Amani Oruwariye or Justin Layne would be GREAT in the third.

DL, OL, CB, EDGE or S? So many players, so few picks!

Who will the LA Rams take in the 2019 NFL Draft? I break down who the Rams might take in every round based on position and projected round availability. Bonus points for players who played in the Senior Bowl and who have met with the Rams. There is so much value in the second round and the Rams should trade back if given the opportunity. Who do you think the Rams should take?

My LA Rams 2019 NFL Draft recap and analysis covers how the Rams approached the 2019 NFL Draft and how the framework of their roster is defined allowing them to pinpoint players that fit culturally and schematically. Bottom line: the Rams found exceptional value throughout the draft. Les Snead was able to turn three top-100 picks into four, while getting the players he and the scouts wanted. The Rams walk away from the 2019 NFL Draft a better team in 2019 and beyond.
