    NFL 2018 Midseason All-Pro Team

    https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-nfl-2018-mid-season-all-pro-team

LG – RODGER SAFFOLD, LOS ANGELES RAMS – 79.2 OVERALL GRADE

Listed at 6-5, 323 pounds, Saffold has always been a people mover, and that’s no different this season. He’s earned the top run-block grade among all guards. No guard in the NFL has more positively graded blocks than Saffolrd’s 38.

RG – AUSTIN BLYTHE, LOS ANGELES RAMS – 80.3 OVERALL GRADE

The Rams’ offensive line somehow has gotten better from a season ago, and this man is the biggest catalyst behind that. The third-year guard that the Rams got for nothing after he was waived by the Colts last year has been a revelation. His 72.9 run-block grade ranks fifth among all guards while his 84.5 pass-blocking grade is eighth.

DI – AARON DONALD, LOS ANGELES RAMS – 95.6 OVERALL GRADE

Watch Donald for more than a few plays, and it’s painfully obvious that he’s in a level all on his own. He not only leads the league in sacks with 10 but also in total pressures with 54. To do that from exclusively between the tackles is something we’ve never seen before.

SPECIAL TEAMER – CORY LITTLETON, LOS ANGELES RAMS – 91.4 OVERALL GRADE
Littleton has only played 57 snaps so far this season, but he has made a huge impact on special teams, with two blocked punts through the first eight weeks of the season, making the type of impact plays that have helped the Rams navigate the first half of the season undefeated.

The fact that PFF failed to name the RB who leads the NFL in rushing yards and TDS to their All-Pro team invalidates everything that site has ever written, said, or thought.

    Blythe was a god-send.

Ya need them kind of personnel outcomes to win a Ring.

Still no major OLine injuries. If the OLine-God is with the Rams, who can stand against them.

BRANDIN COOKS, WR, LOS ANGELES RAMS
    2018 Overall Grade: 79.3

Cooks didn’t come cheap, but sometimes you have to pay for talent in the NFL. One thing is for sure, the first-rounder they gave up wouldn’t likely be producing the way Cooks is at the moment. His 2.49 yards per route is the sixth-best of any wide receiver in the NFL, and his 118.8 passer rating when targeted is seventh. Consistently one of the best deep threats in the league, Cooks has lived up to that billing as well with 270 deep receiving yards – sixth most in the league. This is the type of return you want when you give up a high draft pick.

NDAMUKONG SUH, DI, LOS ANGELES RAMS
    2018 Overall Grade: 81.1

The Rams are even better than they were a season ago, and having two players on this list is a big reason why. Everyone knew Ndamukong Suh still had a lot left in the tank, but his contract was simply unsustainable for the Dolphins in their current state. Through eight weeks, Suh is the 15th highest-graded interior defender, and his 29 total pressures are the fifth-most at the position. He’s combined with Aaron Donald to be the second most prolific pass-rushing duo in the NFL in terms of total pressures, regardless of position.
