    PLUGGED IN

McVay, already known for his long hours at Rams headquarters, said that after the Rams’ OTA practices in June, he took two vacations: with his family to Mexico and with his girlfriend to Barcelona and Paris.

Football, though, was never far from his mind.

“Fortunately, it’s something that I love. I did try to get away a little bit,” McVay said. “It was good to get away, but sometimes you get that playbook out. … My girlfriend or my family has to say, ‘Put that away and relax a little bit.’”
