He did NOT mean that there was necessarily unusually high, or more, QUALITY. No Julio Jones’s for example.
But he said in today’s NFL Receivers are specialists. When using 3 and 4 Receivers you use different kinds for different purposes. Guys that can go deep; guys that run short routes; guys that can work outside, guys who are slot receivers, guys that post up, etc. And he said that there were good Receivers available in every kind that you need. That isn’t the case in all drafts, but it is so this year.
