    my sense is that ogletree has grown up a lot since he came in as a rookie. maybe it had to do with becoming a father.

    i hope they can lock him up, and i’m excited to see what he can do in this new defense. i like that that guy said the new defense will be simpler. as opposed to williams’ defense. just let the guys attack.

    Yes one generalization you can make at this point is that the Wms defense is more complex (more disguised coverages, more fronts etc) and the Wilson 3/4 1-gap defense is much simpler and as a result, a certain percentage more aggressive.

    In that respect it is more like Seattle—it doesn’t do a whole lot of different things, but it excels at what it DOES do.
