    off the net from HopHead

I was at the practice yesterday and Havenstein was doing drills behind the bleachers. I watched him pretty closely for about 10 minutes go through his drills. He started off doing some really light work on his punch technique, Started doing some lateral movment drills hooked up to a harness with a coach pulling on him, He then started doing some work on the sleds and was driving the sled with the coach riding on it. All in all, I didn’t see him favoring his foot. He had quick feet and his power appeared to be there.

The only thing “light” about the session was that he wasn’t going full contact with an opponent but he was working and by the end of his session was covered in sweat. Based on what I saw him doing yesterday, I would be shocked if he isn’t on the 53 come week 1.

    Young Havenstein is unstoppable.

He’ll be out there for Game one.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: From that fateful day when stinking bits of slime first crawled from the sea and shouted to the cold stars, “I am man.”, our greatest dread has always been the knowledge of our mortality. But tonight, we shall hurl the gauntlet of science into the frightful face of death itself. Tonight, we shall ascend into the heavens. We shall mock the earthquake. We shall command the thunders, and penetrate into the very womb of impervious nature herself.
