    Rams head coach Sean McVay said QB John Wolford hurt the fingernail on his throwing thumb in yesterday’s joint practice with Bengals. Made it “weird” for Wolford to grip the ball. Wolford’s status Saturday’s preseason game TBD.

    Since watching Kyren Williams actually practice post-injury from that live scrimmage into this week of joint practices, I’ve had him penciled in as RB3. Smooth, confident in pass game and melded right in with heavy dose of reps with Stafford and Co in practice.

    We had seen AJ Arcuri moving around the line in practice of late, which was interesting. He’s at left tackle tonight. Got some reps at guard, too.

    If you are concerned about the performance of the Rams “backup” OL in the Bengals preseason game, then don’t worry. The main backups, like AJ Jackson and Tremayne Anchrum, didn’t play because they already have roster spots locked down

If you’re really talking about arm talent and the ability to make all throws, including the deep ball, Stafford is one of the all-time greats.</p>
