London Fletcher still feels the pain of that Super Bowl loss to Belichick.

Reminds me of how John Madden used to talk about the Immaculate

Reception loss.   Some losses, some players/coaches/fans  just do Not Ever get over.

I think it often has something to do with the fact that the Best Team doesnt always PLAY like the best team.   The Rams probly were a little better than the Pats.  They probly woulda won a ‘best of 7’ series with the Pats.

Probly.  (And i know how good the Pats were.  They were good.  They were the Pats)

The Pats outplayed them, and out-toughed-them and out-coached them,

on THAT one day.    But were the Pats ‘the better team’ ?    Nah.  I dont think so.

And that makes the pain of the loss worse, I think.    When the best team wins, I think the loss is more acceptable.
