I don’t think Schott gets the credit he deserves. Part of what Schott is about is situational football ball.

One Schott thing—-how game-winning drives work differently than any other series in a Rams game.

I suspect they practice a lot of situational football, including 2-minute, comeback drives, and redzone.

Here are 3 different drives with 3 different qbs.

One from 2012 is a comeback win against Buffalo on the road.

One is a missed comeback against Seattle in 2013. It has all the same elements, it’s just that it doesn’t have the TD. (For comparison sake: in 2012 Bradford’s TDs to attempts percentage inside the 10 was 48%, in 2014 so far Davis’s TDs to attempts percentage inside the 10 is 50%, in 2013 Clemens’s TDs to attempts percentage inside the 10 was 31%).

One is from 2014, and in fact from the last game. It’s the game-sealing drive in the 4th quarter that kept the Rams score up in spite of Seattle’s resurging 2nd half “Ogletree beater” offense.

IMO it’s a team strength. If the qb can execute them, this is a Schott thing.

I highlight 2 things.

1. QB passes of 15 yards or more.

2. RB runs of 7 yards or more.

It includes a few of the best pass plays in the Fisher Rams era. The Pettis catch on 4th down against Buffalo. The Kendricks 22 yard bullet against Buffalo. The Davis to Givens 30 yarder against Seattle.
