    While Rams LB Travin Howard and RB Kyren Williams were designated for return this week, Sean McVay said they will keep both of them in their 21-day windows – an indication that they won’t be activated this week.

    Lot of injuries for the 49ers. Deebo and Armstead being out are huge. Armstead is a big part of that defense. Still need to play the game though. 49ers have been without guys like George Kittle and Trent Williams before and it didn’t matter.

    Rams HC Sean McVay on C Brian Allen: “If you’re playing against him, you’re saying, ‘This guy’s a dick.’ If he’s on your team, you love him.” McVay said that tenacity “is an identity that’s necessary” for an offensive line, especially given what they’re asked to do every snap.

    Rams HC Sean McVay said Cam Akers is out for Sunday’s game vs. 49ers. WR Brandon Powell (ankle) will be questionable but is expected to play. WR Van Jefferson and DB Troy Hill will be activated off of IR and play Sunday.

    The trade deadline is November 1st. You only have to wait a few more days (tops) to see how this shakes out, and who we’re riding with through the rest of the season. Something something HUNT & CHUBB. With OBJ projecting to sign when he’s ready to play in a month or so.

    the Oline or total lack thereof has to be taken into account. Veterans or not you cannot have 4th stringers comprise 4/5 of your Oline due to injuries with 10 different variations in a 6 game span and expect ANY QB to be at their best.

    The Rams waived C/G Jeremiah Kolone, who had been filling in as their center as two starters suffered injuries. This indicates more positive progress for Brian Allen, who the Rams expect back this week, and for Matt Skura as depth. Kolone can sign to PS after clearing waivers.

    sf talk radio was a treat today, lots of hand wringing over the 49ers ass whoopin’, always fun, peter king was a guest, agreed that a wk8 rams win was a must, but not to keep pace with the rams but to keep pace with the seahawks, who king thinks is the best nfcw team.
