I would not trade up him for him. Either then, or now.
Drafting him didn’t bother me. However, trading up for him wasn’t the best idea. The Rams still had a lot of weak spots on the team.
Bad teams should never trade up.
Same here. The issue I have is, what if we had more of a dynamic OC, say like a Chip Kelly type? Just saying. I feel B.S. is not the guy who knows how to utilize our skill players talents.
JackPMillerParticipantMy power was out all day, and when it comes back on, I noticed we shocked Denver. Jeesh. Now lets hope we don’t have a let down against San Diego. I wish I would have seen the game.
JackPMillerParticipantIt is only one game. If they can do it consistently, who knows. Lets see how they do at Arizona nextweek, and at home against Denver in 2 weeks.
JackPMillerParticipantI won’t blame it on injuries if you can name a team that won with injuries like this. So far that’s the #1 and #2 qb and 6 other regular starters. I will settle for 1 qb and 6 other starters.
If you can’t name a team that won with injuries like that, then, strongly consider the possibility that dismissing EXTENSIVE injuries as an explanation of a game like today is short-sighted and unrealistic.
The Green Bay Packers in their Super Bowl year, when they beat Pittsburgh, was loaded with tons of injuries.

JackPMillerParticipantI do not see improvement. You can try and blame it on injuries or what not, but they have to be coached up. All I see is a team that is regressing, not progressing. Fisher needs to be accountable for this mess that is going on. The talent is here, but the coaching and play calling as a whole has been terrible. I know he will get another year, but he does not deserve it.
JackPMillerParticipantThis is my favorite scene from the show

JackPMillerParticipantI have lost faith. Fisher only has 6 winning seasons in his career. That is it. If I was the owner, and the Rams win at least 9 games by the end of the year, then I’d fire Fisher and his staff at the end of the season.
JackPMillerParticipantI’m probably going to be wrong, but Tru will be back as a starter, Gaines plays nickle CB, and Joyner moves to FS.
JackPMillerParticipantFisher needs to send a message and cut Scott Wells. His play has been horrible.
JackPMillerParticipantHerring is the same guy who picked off Sam Bradford in the final game of his rookie season. If correct, that was the game clincher for Seattle.
JackPMillerParticipantBlown out in three of four games. I know the Cowboy game read 34-31, but after we went up 21-0, after that it was 34-10 Dallas. Hence, three blowout losses. I’d be shocked if Fisher is not on the hot seat by now.

October 1, 2014 at 12:40 am in reply to: Rams re-sign TE Brad Smelley to practice squad – Tweet #8779JackPMillerParticipantHe stinks. Ok, bad joke.
JackPMillerParticipantHard to say. Our first 4 games were against teams running a 4-3 defense. This will be our first game against a team that runs a 3-4 defense.
JackPMillerParticipantCould our game next week against the Eagles be like last year when we blew out the Colts in Indy? Just wondering, if we have that inside us.
September 21, 2014 at 6:45 pm in reply to: This is what happens to teams that are poorly coached. #8101JackPMillerParticipantI am not giving up on the coaching. I think they are caught in a slow start, and I think the D let up after the Jenkins TD. But you can also see improvement in a lot of areas. Just a warning about me though–I tend not to let losses get to me.
This is Fisher’s 3rd year. I do not see any improvement. This team is too talented to start losing like this. Utterly embarrassing. I know losses don’t get to you. But football is life to alot of fans, and seeing the team win, is what fans want. Especially if they are Super Bowl title.
JackPMillerParticipantI meant to say end in 5’s and 0’s.
JackPMillerParticipantI give him a 5. I only like using 5’s and 0’s. So, I can not list Fisher as a 10, because he does not deserve it, so I have to give him a 5.
JackPMillerParticipantThis guy is possibly the most famous celebrity Rams fan.
JackPMillerParticipantDon’t you think you could have waited at least an hour before being such a Debbie Downer?
I couldn’t wait, because I have to get to my farmville game.

Even then most outsiders look at one major pure blue chip talent on this team – Quinn – and most of the rest at average or even below. Now again that should change with time and experience but but right now not close when looking at every position.
In addition I believe Bradford would have gone to the locker room at half ahead of these guys and so the gusher would not have taken place. That’s just my opinion there.
Again, you do not lose to an awful Vikings team at home. They got hammered. This is unacceptable. I don’t want to hear inexperience stuff either. The Vikings were a team that we should have blown out, and not the other way around. I put that on the coaching.
JackPMillerParticipantSorry, I meant to say NFC, not NFL. Just a typo.

JackPMillerParticipantInteresting, no comments on my picks I guess everyone agrees with them?

Three should be 1st rounders, Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, and Brent Hundley. I feel potentially, the 2015 QB class is much better than the 2014.

JackPMillerParticipantI’m going with Brian Quick. The coaches like him, and I am getting this weird feeling he is going to have a big year.
