Rams lesser names making names for themselves at camp

I’ll lead this off with CB Michael Jordan. Don’t be surprised to see him make the team and contribute. This man is out there making a LOT of plays. I don’t think I’ve heard anything about him yet but my camera has found him many times already during camp. On one particular play he came up with the INT on a bubble screen, fighting through the blocking WR to battle (and ultimately win) the WR for the ball. Very impressive instincts on this kid.

Matt Longacre. Who? He’s been out there beating GRob like he’s the mighty Quinn. Albeit not much but he’s shown flashes.

Longacre has some competition in Morgan Fox. Fox is an animal out there. Someone else brought him up at some different forums. He likes to go hard even after the whistle. Very intense.

WR Duke Williams. #1 JUCO transfer a few years ago to Auburn. Had high hopes for him there, despite the offense. He’s been making a lot of plays at camp when given opportunity. He’s another big guy on the field like Britt and Quick.

Of course there is Michael Thomas too at WR. He may be the most impressive so far of the young guys at camp.

DE Ethan Westbrooks is just a damn good player. Great reserve to have. He can generate pressure, even from inside at DT.

The new #36 RB Aaron Green from TCU has a humongous following. He broke no less than 3 long runs on Friday at Rams camp, two of which were probably touchdowns in a game. People were going crazy telling him, “Great runs Benny!” lol but it wasn’t Benny. Benny looked good on Wednesday though and got his own reps. Green could make some noise though and possibly push him for a job.

LB Brandon Chubb has shown some serious athleticism at camp. I know the Rams probably won’t keep many LBer’s but this guy is making a case for a roster spot. He is the cousin of Nick Chubb the stand out HB at Georgia that took over for Todd Gurley.
