    The Rams went the entire preseason without a giveaway or sack allowed.

    I went as far back as I could to find out if any other team has done that.

    The answer? Nope. Rams are the only team since at least 1999.

    It gets tough when it came to depth at CB and edge. I feel like Bailey is almost a necessity at this point, unless they really want to risk losing him in waivers. Lampkin is another one too. I have him just barely missing out and landing on practice squad.

    In their three wins over the Chiefs, Saints and Chargers, the Rams didn’t commit a single turnover, nor did they allow a single sack. According to the NFL’s GSIS Statistics, no other team this preseason can say the same thing. They’re the only team in the league that didn’t allow a sack, and they’re one of four teams without a turnover; the other three all have one game left.

    Furthermore, no team in the NFL since at least 1999 – which is as far back as NFLGSIS’s official preseason stats go – has gone an entire preseason without a giveaway or sack allowed. The Jets and Browns, both in 2022, were the only other teams since at least 1999 to go an entire preseason without allowing a sack. Four other teams in that span had zero turnovers in a single preseason: 2004 and 2022 Raiders, 2011 Steelers, and 2024 Seahawks and Panthers.

    Thats inter esting. One hopes there is not some sort of regression-to-the-mean for both teams. I dunno if I’m using that term right, but ya know.

    Kyren was on my sht-list because of his fumbling, but i have to say, he did ok last year. 2 fumbles I think.

    Darnold had 11 fumbles with 6 lost.
    Stafford had 7.

    His last fumble was game 5 v. SF.

    Since then, counting playoffs, he went 15 games with zero fumbles.

    Man, when the Mc/Snead regime decides to fix something, they sure do fix it.

    That is so true.

    Its especially apparent when you look around the NFL and see some teams who seem to have the same problem(s) every year, whether its QB(Clev) or defense(Cincy) or Everything(Ariz) or, whatever.

    Atwell’s contract is only 1.4 M.

    Odds are they are gambling that they can get Hunter through waivers and on to the practice squad. That’s the only thing I can think of.
