JackPMillerParticipantI feel that the game against the Cardinals is a must win. It is a divisional opponent, and we would be 5-2. I want us to beat the Cardinals going 5-2, going into our bye.

All divisional games are must wins. So, beating the Cardinals is a must win.

All divisional games are must wins. So, beating the Cardinals is a must win.
After this game, we go into our bye week. I feel we need this game to build confidence. So I look at it as a must win. Plus, we don’t want to go into our bye week losing 2 of our 3 games. Not good. This is a must win game for us.

The Cards just beat the crap out of the Rams in that 44-6 game last year.
The series is like 38 to 37 or somethin like that.

znModeratorArizona looked dead for a bit there in the first few games but they’re not entirely, quite dead yet. And it’s a division game.
Fortunately for the Rams Calais Campbell, their great nemesis of late, left Arizona (unfortunately he went to Jacksonville. But, the Rams won so that’s over.) Right now the Cards defense is in decline. They’re 21st in yards, 28th in points, 26th in passing yards, though 9th in rushing yards and 4th in yards per carry.
They’re still 11th in sack percentage though 27th in sacks.
On offense, they’re 10th in yards, including 3rd in yards passing, though 20th in points, and 3rd in yards passing, though 32nd in yards rushing. Adrian Peterson is already changing that.

Interesting the Rams have a better record on the road than at home so far so I’m glad this one’s in London. The Cards got LT Humphries and LG Boone back yesterday just in time for AP’s debut against the imploding Buccs. Their OL will be vastly improved for the Rams game. I suspect AP is running emotion for fuel and he will come back to Earth against the Rams. Still it will be a tough game for both teams. McVay seems better at planning than Arians, more organized.

canadaramParticipantThough they might be on the decline I believe that the Cardinals are still more talented than the Rams. This is the best offense that the Rams D has faced this season. The Rams are going to have to play mistake free football and force some turnovers to win this game. I’m not confident about the Rams chances.

Which means the Rams will probably find a way to lose.
Nevertheless, I’m gonna say: Rams 34, Cards 17.

The ARZ OL had been banged up and now it’s healthy with key starters back. Peterson still has it. Their defense is still pretty tough against the run. I don’t think it’s a gimme game.
That was serious. Now for the joke part of the post.
But at least the Rams are the home team.
So playing in London ought to be no different from playing in LA.

But it kinda ISN’T a “home” game.
I’m not saying the Rams lose this game. But I’m not saying they win it.
I will go out on a limb and say that they will play well for the Queen and they may–just may win this thing.
By the way, my Ancestry results are back and I’m mostly British. The Rams don’t dare lose this in my homeland.
I dare say I will have a bit of the collywobbles on Sunday. (That’s British for queasy stomach for all you Yanks).

Welcome to the tribe. My results were 65% Brit. Mostly Scot, really. I got 18% German-French, 12% Norwegian and 4% Irish, which explains my drinking problem.

I’m more of a mutt than you. I have 45% British but then I go to the rest of Europe, split between eastern and western Europe and some small percentages from other places. My son got his DNA from his mother AND me of course so his British was higher than mine. It’s cool stuff.
