    from https://ramblinfan.com/rams-owe-qbs-coach-dave-ragone-handling-difficult-task

Dave Ragone could be most important coach on Rams staff

…Coach Ragone is faced with tutoring three quarterbacks on different career tracks with completely different needs. LA needs positive growth from the room, regardless of how long Matthew Stafford decides to play. It all falls upon Ragone to deliver talented and prepared young quarterbacks to fend off such uncertainty.

McVay recognized the need to pay special attention to developing young hurlers after Bennett burned out and stepped away during his rookie season. Since then, the team has made it a point of emphasis.

Rams EDGE Wesley Bailey was credited with TEN…yes 10 pressures against the Saints.

That was twice as many as the next closest player in Week 2 of the preseason.

    from * https://captaincomeback.blog/2026/08/25/nfl-quarterbacks-with-the-most-multiple-game-winning-drives-mgwd-in-history/

Two years ago, I first wrote about the way Patrick Mahomes was specializing in the art of the Multiple Game-Winning Drive (mGWD). This is a game where a quarterback takes the lead multiple times in the fourth quarter or overtime to win the game. For it to count as a mGWD, you have to get the final game-winning drive along with an earlier go-ahead drive in a tied or one-score game

Here is everyone with at least one mGWD

    1. Ben Roethlisberger – 12
    2. Drew Brees – 11
    Eli Manning – 11
    4. Matthew Stafford – 10
    Patrick Mahomes – 10
    6. Dak Prescott – 9
    Warren Moon – 9
    Tom Brady – 9
    9. Drew Bledsoe – 8
    Russell Wilson – 8
    Aaron Rodgers – 8
    Derek Carr – 8
    13. Brett Favre – 7
    Philip Rivers – 7

    ….

    And that’s the B and C squads.

Lots of depth on defense this year.

That’s not even close. There is a significantly greater gap between the #1 and #2 receivers on that list than between #2 and #5.

    I, for one, approve.

yup. nacua is a helluva receiver. my only two questions are can he stay healthy and can he stay out of trouble.

He’s being called ‘Hannibal Lechter’ out there on the internets. Dunno if that label will show up at away games or not. Sigh.
