znModeratorfrom PFF Interior Defender Rankings: https://www.pff.com/news/pff-interior-defender-rankings-the-top-32-players-ahead-of-the-2026-nfl-season
9. Kobie Turner, Los Angeles Rams
Turner has developed into a really strong pass-rusher from the defensive interior, and is still just 27 years old. He has totalled 50, 62 and 69 pressures in each of the past three seasons, respectively, and set a career-high with an 83.9 PFF pass-rush grade last year. He’s been solid against the run too, with a PFF run-defense grade above 66.0 in each of those three seasons.

znModeratorfrom https://ramblinfan.com/chris-shula-confirmed-everything-rams-fans-heard-josaiah-stewart
Los Angeles Rams fans have heard only positives about edge rusher Josaiah Stewart entering his second season. That buzz has hummed louder throughout training camp, and speaking to reporters this week, defensive coordinator Chris Shula confirmed that Stewart has been, well, a monster:
“He’s been showing up. I said to him, ever since we put the pads on, he decides to make a bunch of plays. He’s physical on the edge. I think he’s an every-down player, where he can go in the run game and play on a tight end, and he’s obviously a great pass rusher, a guy that can drop in coverage. He’s a guy that really can do it all, and do it at a high level,” Shula beamed.
“He has a great feel for angles, for space, he’s physical, and he’s had, I think it’s been three or four days in a row, where he’s shown up a lot. So he’s had a great camp.”
Hopes for Stewart have been high from the get-go following a solid rookie season. From the sound of it, those lofty expectations are justified. Fans might not see much of Stewart in the preseason, when the Rams focus almost exclusively on rookies and fringe players, but Shula’s high praise should be enough to hold us over.

znModeratorWho led the @RamsNFL's loaded line in sacks last season?
That would be Byron Young. He can jump gaps, go around you, move inside your reach, or bull you right into Mr. Quarterback. The hidden force on Chris Shula's defense. pic.twitter.com/kMo2xYFF00

What do you mean?
I don’t see anybody else who is not on the bubble. I think Murchison, Dolac, and Thomas are all replaceable. I was just trying to add to the list of “safe” players. I’m not trying to predict a final roster, or anything. I don’t know. But I don’t think any of those 49 players will get cut in the end.

Okay.
I just think WB (Bailey) will make it.

I hope he does. From what I’ve read. I hope Lampkin makes it, too. I just don’t think either are a lock.
49 locks means 4 jobs up for grabs. I think there is one more WR (Daniels?), and one more RB (Hunter?). That leaves room for Bailey and Lampkin, and that’s it.
Murchison, Dolac, and Thomas are goners, and everybody else. Some obviously go to the PS, but some end up on the Seahawks and 9ers, and other teams like that which are short-handed on talent.

ZooeyModeratorFom CBS on promising UFA:
S Nick Andersen, Rams
A few years ago, I conducted some research that found defensive backs were the most likely undrafted free agents to make an NFL roster. Safety, specifically, is a position that requires a higher level of cerebral understanding and is not necessarily solely reliant on athleticism. Los Angeles, in particular, has done an excellent job identifying these players through the years: Jaylen McCollough, Tanner Ingle and a handful of other Day 3 selections.Andersen may be next. In his five collegiate seasons, he amassed eight interceptions. In preseason exposure, he has not been afraid to play downhill and deliver big hits.
*******
I guess this is turning into speculation on final 53 after all.
If Anderson makes the cut, that would probably push Lampkin to the PS.
The Rams are going to have to expose a 53-worthy player or two as they park guys on the PS.
