McVay’s first loss in a season opener.

Bills played their 1st team in the pre-season.

Is the Rams OL an issue? Or is Buffalo that good?

I think it’s yes to both your questions

the OL looks like an issue against good DLs

also, Rams seem thin at WR without OBJ…I didn’t realize Van Jeff was out.

BTW …. Tavon is Tutu’s voodoo doll

    WR looked thin for sure.

Where was Robinson. I thought he was going to be the #2?
I know the Bills were denying the longer options, but does he have no routes on can he not run them?  Only 2 targets on the night.  Not a good look for a guy earning 900k+ a game.

Wagners impact on defense was minimal at best , the Oline looked out classed. I was expecting improvement in the 2nd half  and watched an implosion instead. Bills are highly rated for a reason the Rams need radical improvement before running it back is mentioned as even the remotest  possibility.  Silver lining nobody was injured and it was the kind of loss that could well motivate the needed improvement as it is only one of 17 and came against the AFC front runner.

Defense struggled to get off the field on third down. Offense struggled to protect the quarterback and to run the ball.

    Not a recipe for success.

Not playing the first string likely cost us a good chance at this game, but may still turn out to be the best strategic decision for the season.

    They will get better.

Only saw the hi-lites.   Just looked like the Bills OLine was

    better than the Rams OLine.

One other thing I noticed, and I would like to go back and rewatch to see if it was prevalent, but on several plays Ramsey seemed either out of place, beaten, or not supported by another Ram who was out of position.  I am not a pro, so I don’t want to conclude which, but he did not seem in anyway at his normal level of play.

i’m thinking they were a little rusty. bills did play starters some in the preseason.

but also i’m worried about the oline. they got waxed. noteboom got waxed. i’m hoping it was just rust.

defense was not very impressive either. it’s just one game though. and mcvay wasn’t going to win every opener in his career.

Ramsey is one of the best CBs in football. He didn’t forget how to play.

On one TD, he was beat over the top when he made a move to close on Allen who left the pocket. The DBs were instructed to help contain Allen. Ramsey looked bad on that play, but he was doing what Morris told him to do.

I dunno about ‘rusty.’  Maybe.  Just looked like the Oline was overpowered to me.

The two prior games Buffalo whipped the Rams defense, so that was nothing new.

Buffalo’s offense is just gonna do that, they are that good.

I think we all tend to wait about 3 or 4 games before we draw conclusions.  Atlanta will be inter esting.

“Seattle Seahawks all alone in first place in the NFC West” is not a sentence anyone saw coming this season.

Rams are fooling everyone with this “pretend not to be good” routine. Teams are clearly getting suckered in by it.
