The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.
Sprinkles are for winners.

PA RamParticipantI look for redzone scoring to go up with Goff. But they won’t get to the redzone as much.
I don’t know if the team can match last week’s offensive display so I’m gonna say Rams: 6 Dolphins: 3
.500 here we come!!!!!

— X —ParticipantI really don’t think so, but I’m hopeful. The only thing I can think of that works in the Rams’ favor is the fact that the Dolphins’ defensive coordinator is a virtual unknown and this is his first gig as a DC at any level. But then I remember that our offensive coordinator is also a first-time coordinator. With a rookie QB. And no running game to speak of.
This is Clash of the Titans-type stuff right here.

wvParticipantWell the Dolphins have won, what four in a row? As much as the football
gods hate the Rams, they also hate the Dolphins. So, this one is tricky for the football gods. Do they let Goff and the Rams reach .500 this late in the year? Do they let the Dolphins win FIVE in a row and go two games over .500?The football gods are between a rock and a hard place.
I predict an earthquake.

AgamemnonParticipantIf the offensive line is playing better, as they appeared to do in the Jets game, then Goff just has play better than Petty played last week and the Rams win. imo
Also, Goff has the arm talent Keenum lacks. The Miami defense will have to respect that and that should open things up a bit, because Miami will have to defend more stuff than they would if Keenum was the QB. imo

joemadParticipantI’m not sure what to expect with Goff… what I haven’t seen or heard from him is his desire to start or seen any frustration from him for not being announced the starter… Maybe he’s being supportive of Case and team or feels that he’s not ready, or maybe a laid back personality….

Personal Statement
I am a 6’4″ 190 lbs Pro-Style QB from Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, CA. I am in the class of 2013 and have started on Varsity since my sophomore year. My career record with my team over the past 2 years is 25-2. This past year I earned All-State honors, All-Metro honors, North Bay player of the year, MCAL League MVP, team MVP, and was selected to the Semper-Fi Proving Ground National Combine in January. I have a 3.7 GPA and have yet to take the SAT.
I am interested in a school that provides great athletics as well as academics. I am interested in schools all across the country, but preferably the West Coast. I have not yet decided what I will major in, but I’m very interested in Statistical Analysis. Ideally, I want to make an

wvParticipantWell the defense is not a top defense without Quinn.
So, if he’s not healthy, then Goff is going to have to Elevate
the entire team.w

vOh…I’m not so sure about that. The most important cog to the D-line is now Donald, but having both Simms and Quinn down means we’ll see some of the young guys. Not a bad thing IMO…but they are better with Quinn.
I’m not a big believer in this QB elevates or even levitates the O. They drafted a QB not the great Goffdini.
After watching Goff this pre-season I don’t expect him to come in and put the team on his back and become Warner2…what I do hope he does is minimize his mistakes, throws a few balls away, and take a few shots. I’m hoping for >50% completion percentage, 200+ yds, and 1 turnover and I’ll consider that a good start.
