November 13, 2016 at 4:22 pm #58138PA RamParticipantI had to go pick up my wife so I missed the thrilling ending but I see the Rams played perfect Fisherball and got the win. I’ll take it. A win is a win is a win. Did the team really improve? Not really. They are still who they are.
Technically yes–they are still in the playoff hunt so I expect Fisher to stay the coarse.
I don’t think it’s a playoff coarse but…well, hopefully it works.
The question is do they prepare for next year(Goff) or do they try to get to the playoffs?
I don’t see a playoff team.
But I think Fisher does.
I hope Fisher is right.

November 13, 2016 at 4:22 pm #58139Eternal RamnationParticipantThat is our 22 starters until Barnes and TA missed plays but damn compared to the rest of the NFL they’re super healthy. Britt looked good Gurley got going somewhat . Defense played well after the 99 yrd drive. TA has bad hands. They seem lost Keenum is inconsistent , he’s gutsy a fighter but he just isn’t that good, Hecker is !The D locked it down in the 2nd half.Cooper ran the route to the sticks!

after that game.I’ll also be interested to see where they rank
after the Saint and Patriot games 🙂w

November 13, 2016 at 5:23 pm #58167JackPMillerParticipantNot sure why, I know we won, but it does not feel like it. Anyone else have that feeling.

I guess thats two games where Ogletree sealed the win
with a late Turnover.Still not many sacks for this D or turnovers.

vThe offense will be rank, you can be sure of that.

Me personally? No. I don’t feel that way.
I don’t believe in moral defeats.
November 13, 2016 at 6:23 pm #58181WinnbradParticipantThe Rams beat a bad team that started a below average quarterback. We beat the AFC version of the Rams.
A win next week (at home!) has to happen. If it doesn’t, the 7-9 BS train is pulling into the station.
November 13, 2016 at 6:30 pm #58184sanbaggerParticipantI missed the game, was in a golf tourny today, and the Jets are sanbaggerettes team soooooo….kinda glad they pulled off a W even if it was a field goal victory cause that…Whatever, I received from her was pretty sweet.
Gotta catch up on what happened but right now I’m wallowing in the W

Well even if they win, they may be on the 7-9-BS train. They are now 4-5.
Let us look at the schedule…To get to that lofty, unimaginable EIGHT win summit, they need to scrounge and claw four more hideously-ugly wins out of the next seven games:
Miami
At Saints
At Pats
Atlanta
At Seattle
SF
ArizMaybe that last game will be the game that decides whether its 7-9-Bullshit, OR,
Eight-and-Eight-Mediocrity.w

Yeah, sort of. The Jets just feel like a really bad team.

vUgh. I think I was optimistic with 7-9. Maybe I can catch that 6-10 train?

Theres the argument for leaving Goff on the bench until he fully develops, huh? Quite a success formula.

it’s not easy for West Coast teams to travel back east and win.
“”””Since the start of the 2003 season, West Coast teams have gone just 61-111 (35.5%) against East Coast teams.””””

Unfortunately the Rams are 76 and 131 over that same period so they will find a way to lose regardless.
November 14, 2016 at 3:47 pm #58342bnwBlockedAnother game with no TDs. Two wins like that too. 1st and goal at the Jets one yard line gets us a FG. Pathetic.

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.
Sprinkles are for winners.

Wonder what the other way around is.
Of course, WC teams travelling to the EC are starting 3 hours earlier. Wonder if that makes a difference between WC teams going east and EC teams going west.
