I think the stats are kinda weird on this D.
If I’m not mistaken they are like 23rd in “total defense”
but then they are 2nd in things like redzone D.
Fisher, like all coaches ‘self scout’ at the end
of the year. He’s done it for four years now.
I wonder how he grades himself on ‘self scouting’
so far. Does he have a record of ‘fixing’ things
that have been fixable?
I don’t think he’s that special. I think he gets points for how he used Barron after Ogletree went down. The run D struggled at times even with a great D line. I think maybe he gets a B grade.
I think the D is solid everywhere, including Williams. What would really help this D is an offense that can move the chains. The Rams O is dead last (or close to it) in almost every meaningful category. The D stays under a lot of pressure.

Is it a ‘great line’ though, without Quinn?
Brockers aint great. Simms? Hayes? Fairley?
Solid players?
I dunno if its really a ‘great line’
without Q.
I thought a whole buncha guys came through this year and I attribute it to GW’a coaching. Johnson and Jenkins. Roberson…and I didn’t expect that one. Joyner. Barron. Ogletree. Ayers. Fairley. That’s a lot.
