    Prediction: Game will be somewhat boring but it is pre-season. Aren’t they all.

    Yeah, as a game, it will be dull. I expect the wife to be asleep on the couch by 8:10.

    But there are so many players we get to see! More than usual. Joyner, Donald, Ogletree (how much better?), Westbrooks, Sam, Conrath, Carrington, Robinson, Joseph, all the TEs (better?), Hill, Gilbert, Quick (better?), Bailey and Austin (better?), Mason…etc.

    One pre-season game won’t answer all those questions but it’s like a buffet of interesting bits to watch for.

    I’ll be watching Mason, and Cunningham.

    And team penalties.

    And turnovers.

    I know they’re gonna have some ugly moments, but this team has to cut down on penalties.

    There have been a ton of penalties called in the first six games of the preseason. Seattle practically lived off Denver penalties in the first half. I think the refs are calling ticky tack stuff early in the preseason to emphasize the new rules, but it really slowed the games down last night. Here’s hoping we can avoid that tonight and get through the game with no injuries.

    do you guys remember that poster at the dawn of the public internet on the old blue and white Post Dispatch Rams Message board during the Tony Banks era …..the poster would simply reply….. “I totally agree”

    Just got back from a great week at the beach and now I get to cap it off with a Rams game(pre-season or not). Life is good. 🙂
