    The Rams beat the Lions, 21-14.

    QB Case Keenum made his second start as a Ram and completed 14-of-22 passes for 124 yards.

    RB Todd Gurley rushed 16 times for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Marked his fifth 100-plus yard rushing yard game and second multi-touchdown game.


    Gurley notched three rushes for 20-plus yards, including a long of 49 yards. Gurley now has 21 explosive rushes this season and five 45-plus yard rushes.

    Gurley has eight touchdowns this season, good for 48 points Gurley. WR Tavon Austin (48) and Gurley combine for 96 points this season.

    Gurley has 975 rushing yards this season on 189 attempts for a 5.2-yard average.

    Currently (with games left to play this evening), Gurley’s 975 yards rank fourth in the NFL, behind Adrian Peterson (1,251), Doug Martin (1,214), Jonathan Stewart (989).

    WR Wes Welker caught an 11-yard reception from Keenum to push his career total to 900. He is the 20th player in NFL history to accomplish that feat.

    WR Bradley Marquez led the team in receiving yards with 32 on three catches.

    DT Aaron Donald notched a career-high 3.0 sacks on Lions QB Matt Stafford. Marked his third career multi-sack game, and first 3.0 sack game.

    Donald’s sack total goes into double digits sacks (11.0) for the first time in his career.

    Donald has 20 career sacks with three games left to play in his second NFL season.

    Donald’s 11.0 sacks this season leads the NFL at the defensive tackle position.

    Currently, Donald’s 11.0 sacks leads the NFL among all defensive tackles. He currently trails Houston’s J.J. Watt (13.5), Detroit’s Ezekiel Ansah (13.5), and NYJ’s Muhammad Wilkerson (12) among all NFL defenders.

    CB Trumaine Johnson intercepted Stafford and returned it 58 yards for a touchdown. Marked his fifth interception of the season and 13th career, second for a touchdown.

    The last time a Rams player had five interceptions in a season was in 2008, when S Oshiomogho Atogwe tallied five.

    Currently, Johnson is tied for second in the NFC in interceptions with Cardinals Rashad Johnson (5), both trailing Carolina’s Kurt Coleman (7).

    DT Michael Brockers sacked Stafford for an 8-yard loss. Marked Brockers third sack of the season and 14.5 career.

    According to press box statistics, S Mark Barron led the team in tackles with 11 (eight solo).

    P Johnny Hekker punted six times for 284 yards for a 47.3-yard average and 45.5-yard net average. Hekker placed four punts inside the 20-yard line and had a long of 61 yards.
