Los Angeles Rams
The Rams looked invincible during their six-game winning streak, swatting aside opponents by an average of 18.5 points per clip, but they learned a valuable lesson Sunday during a 31-28 loss in Carolina. The Panthers viewed the Rams as a measuring stick and played like it, and the Rams need to meet that challenge against future opponents.

vYou have no future as a football analyst. The job expects you to fill in gaps with plausible, entertaining bullshit.
I think that the Rams learned that they have to score more points than the other team. They should be fine going forward.

znModeratorIt’s been a crazy climb for Byron Young these past six years, from managing a Dollar General to enjoying a 10-sack season with the Rams.

znModeratorThe best offense in the NFL (Rams) is using 12 & 13 personnel to enhance the PASSING game, not to run the ball.
That new shift in philosophy is slowly trickling down to the college level.
Here's how Oregon is adjusting in the Big 10.

London Fletcher has defended the most career passes by a linebacker, with 86 passes defended: https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask?q=linebackers+with+most+pass+deflect+of+all-time

I think what you are seeing this year is less “great” QB play & more parity which equals a lot of closer games… and these QBs are playing great when it matters, not great all the time! For example Bo & Caleb have made game winning plays in 4th qtr and why their team is winning…
But when you have great QB play like Stafford & Maye, your team wins and looks like best team in league!
So yes QB play matters… it always will, but if you’re not playing great, you have to be great in the moments that matter most!

znModeratorIn the Rams' 3 losses, they've been the more consistent team offensively.
They've only had a success % lower than their opponent (and below 40%) once (vs. Seattle) and still won.
The offense has been 9.3% more successful than opponents, leading the league by a lot. https://t.co/hG5RIDx4KM pic.twitter.com/gUWNsNdzrZ

ZooeyModeratorSo…from what I gather…the Rams are the only team with 2 WRs in the top 10, they have the #1 offense, the #1 defense, the greatest advantage in penalty yards, the highest success rate difference (by far), the leading MVP candidate, and have those rankings in spite of having the hardest schedule (by far) of any team currently holding a playoff spot.
Alrighty, then.
