Who are the ‘leaders’ on the Rams offense?

Looks like JL drafted in 09
    and CL drafted in 08
    are the leaders in general.

    But who leads on offense?

I think Jake Long ‘was’ the leader.
And Bradford. But both have been
    on the sideline mostly.

Two biggest leaders this year were probably Hill and Britt.

Which isn’t all that inspiring. But Britt could become something, I think. I really liked it when I heard he wears Quick’s number during practice.

Greg Robinson, hopefully. He’d have to improve and become a dominant force, which is what they drafted him at No. 2 overall to do.

    Whoever the QB is.

Maybe Stedman Bailey is that type of guy. He seems to come up big when needed. Plays hard. I could see players wanting to follow his lead.

It would be nice if they could find a center who can anchor that position and lead the entire OL unit.

I think one of the reasons for the slow development of this team is it’s lack of leadership. I really don’t even consider Laurinaitis or Long to be leaders in the sense that I think this team desperately needs. Those guys do fine with their example, but they’re not the kind to take a hold of the younger players and hold them accountable to their teammates the way a guy like Ray Lewis or Tom Brady might do. They need someone on the field to help those young guys channel all of that energy in the same direction for the same purposes and I don’t see that on the roster right now, either offensive or defensive.
