“…As for Bradford, he has played 16 games in two of five professional seasons, seven total in his last two. Fisher mentioned Tuesday how in his term as coach the Rams are 5-2-1 against division foes with Bradford as starter, 2-8 against the NFC West without him. Fisher noted how this year’s team was handicapped by 10 returns for touchdowns and that the defense was top five in points allowed.

They sounded like compelling reasons for staying the course. But that can’t be right.”

    Lol.

“Stay the course” never sounds exciting to fans.
Especially after three losing seasons in a row by
    the same coach.

But in this particular case, given the two Bradford injuries,
and given the promise the D has shown,
count me as a “stay the course” — for one more year,
    kinda fan.

But what if they finish 8-8 next year?
    Ay, what then?

If Bradford plays 16 games, they won’t finish 8-8. I’d guess 10 wins.

Of course, if I had wheels on my ass I could be a wagon.

So I guess we’ll see, but I have no faith that Bradford stays healthy.

Yeah he should have said “keep on keepin on.”

Or, the more things stay the same, the more different they will be.

I make fun but actually I think he’s right.

I’m going to give it a couple more weeks to digest what’s happened and try to look at everything with a cool head. I just wonder why this team remains so inconsistent. Good against some really good teams, and then poor against beatable teams. Is it youth? Is that all it is? Is it the inability to adjust to new systems? I do believe in continuity, but if the team doesn’t make a big step next year (8-8 won’t cut it), I’ll have to believe that Kroenke should start planning for yet another new start.

    This is a sports-message-board.
You can get banned for that sort of thing.
