Wow. Another long offseason looking forward to nothing but another long offseason. I don’t know what it is that keeps me coming back. I really don’t.
December 28, 2014 at 8:17 pm #14846PA RamParticipantI really want to send a sympathy card to the Rams defense.
Their offense was D.O.A. today.
Sad.
I don’t know that I’ve ever seen an interception by a lineman when the QB was trying to throw the ball at the ground.
How do you miss the turf? Pretty big target.
Ugh. Serenity now! Serenity now!

Yes you haven’t seen that before, but, seem to assume it was the Rams that caused that. That was just a weird heads up play by the DL and you’re right it has basically never happened before.

IMO it was another bad decision by Hill. He drives me nuts one play will be wow nice throw and then you get the 3ft over your head at mach6 from 3yrds on a screen pass that needs to be out front in stride to work and not get you tiny X factor killed.Hill is the anti-clutch. Why ground the ball at all ? , air mail to the sideline a yard past the los,I mean we all know Hill has the ability to throw it high and uncatchable .He started getting hit and he falls apart.
December 28, 2014 at 8:57 pm #14850InvaderRamModeratori agree. great play by dl. but bone headed decision to even put the ball there. it was a horrible throw.
December 28, 2014 at 11:07 pm #14853bnwBlockedA DL catches Hill’s low pass better than his WRs.

The RAMS win this game if Hill doesn’t make the stupid pass to the DT.
Cunningham doesn’t fumble the ball at the goal line.
Cook catches the TD that went off his hand.
Jenkins stays with his man.
It’s not all about getting the perfect players.
I love the RAMS with every fiber of everything that keeps me together, but, with this team and the players that wear the Horns right now…even I get DIZZY when I think of all of the IDIOTIC and/or HORRIBLE PLAYS that can be added up throughout this season to have cost the RAMS drives, points, defensive plays, tackles, INTs and completed passes!
GO RAMS!!!!!
December 29, 2014 at 4:14 am #14898MackeyserModeratoryeah, we’re not far from being VERY good. Dominating good. But I’m surprised we have feet at all from how often we’re shooting ourselves in them.
It’s maddening sometimes.

December 29, 2014 at 4:44 am #14899znModeratorI wonder if people noticed.
Roberson played for Johnson, and Joyner player for Gaines.
Gaines was hurt, but Johnson wasn’t inactive.
I’ll have to check game snaps, but it LOOKS like Johnson was just plain demoted.

I dunno…Johnson still played a lot. I remember he got beat on a slant for a first down.
December 29, 2014 at 8:34 am #14903Eternal RamnationParticipantI agree with the statement in general but differ on blaming Cook. It was a small window and Hill just doesn’t have that kind of accuracy. Should have hit him in the numbers. I don’t see that as a drop, sure Beckham might have caught it but it was a poorly thrown ball. Did anyone notice how the secondary’s problems coincided with Joyner’s return?
December 29, 2014 at 11:12 am #14906joemadParticipantyou can blame Cunningham on the fumble.
Hill’s int was a bozo mistake…
We’ve seen Cook do that before
but it was good to see the Rams battle in this game. Seattle was playing to win that game in one of the toughest places to play an win and the RAMS battled the full game.
it was a shame that Cunningham’s fumble happened. it would’ve been fun to see the last 5 minutes of the game
December 29, 2014 at 11:50 am #14908ZooeyModeratorMy first thought on the game matched what is said here, but on trying to frame it in my mind as Rams’ mistakes, in each case I had to admit I thought they were just great plays by Seattle.
No DT makes that interception. Ever.
If whoever caused Cunningham’s fumble was 1/2 second later to get there and make a play on the ball, it was a TD. If that guy hadn’t shot out of nowhere, that would have been considered a great play by Cunningham to stretch out for the TD. But he got there in time, and knocked the ball loose a foot before the goal line. It was a great play.
And the INT was a good defensive play, too. The ball was knocked out of Kendrick’s possession, and there was somebody there in the right place, the right time, to take it.
Those were really good plays by Seattle.
And…seriously…if those identical plays had been made by the Rams’ defense against Seattle’s offense, we would all be crediting the Rams’ D with great play rather than accusing Seattle’s offense of shooting itself in the foot.

Yeah, i think i said 24-9 or somethin like that.
I didnt think the Rams would be able to score a TD
on that D in Seattle, with Hill and that OLine.
I figured Seattle would wear them down and make
a big play sooner or later.7-8-1
7-9
6-10
Ah well.…wait till next year 🙂
