Strong 2nd half against a weak team

    Rams now have played–in 6 games–2 LOTs, 3 OCs, and 6 OGs.

Another pick-6.  Teams dont usually overcome pick-6s.

A broken team beat a bad team.

    I’ll take it.

Even though Stafford had an efficient  game, but I was happy that that pick 6, didn’t come back to haunt us.

We need to get our act together, because we will be playing much better teams, than the Panthers.

As bad as  Noteboom has been, is it an overall plus or minus that he’s gone?

Matt threw to 8 different Ram receivers and 1 Panther today

despite the irritating pick 6, Matt had a good game against a  good pass rush. Rams also ran the ball pretty well….. over 100 yds

I know Carolina is struggling but not a bad game for the Rams considering their patched OL

Everything will be fine as long as we don’t bomb Cambodia.

Skowronek’s contributions are nice to see, Alaric Jackson played well enough at LT. If any in-season trades happen, I hope it is for offensive line help and not a running back. I feel like I am watching a slightly below .500 team.

I was at at the game. Sorry, I couldn’t start a thread for some reason, so I’ll give a brief description of our experience here.

I flew into Ontario from San Jose and we spent time with my brother in the high desert…drinking marghs and watching the Dodgers lose. Left the house about around 9 on Sunday and found parking in a neighborhood driveway for $45. My brother is friends with the ticket seller and provided GPS coordinates to the best area. Worked like a charm and we only had to walk a quarter mile to the stadium, drinking beers and shots along the way and mingling with the locals. Considering the disruption every event here has on their lives, they were pretty cool. Unfortunately, I can see the area get gentrified, just like 3rd street did around Oracle Stadium in San Francisco.

The stadium. All I can say is…this place is incredible. Awesome. And it’s huge.  You don’t even see the building until you’re right there, unlike Levi’s, which you can see from miles away. The field is 100 feet below ground to conform with FAA rules… It’s under the flight path to LAX. Anyway, getting in was easy, security was friendly and helpful. Once in, it’s really confusing to get around, even with the attendants assistance. The concourses are wide so you’re not shoulder to shoulder getting in or out.  We found our seats, we were on the second level, just off the west endzone), grabbed some beverages (yes, very expensive but the lines were short, same as the restrooms) and took in the views from our seats about 30 minutes from game time. The sheer size of the place boggles the mind. And that score board…the Infinity Vision. Watching it during the game, I felt information overload. It not only shows the game but game stats from our game and around the league. I felt myself looking up too much and missing the real action on the field.

The fans- Same old LA fans, different century. I went to games at the Big A in Anaheim back in the late 80s and early 90s. The fans mainly sat in their seats and on third downs, same thing. Just a real lack of enthusiasm. Maybe it was the opponent or the team struggling but you would expect a partisan crowd that just experienced a Super Bowl title would be more into the game. The passion just wasn’t there.  At Levi’s last year everyone stood the entire game and made constant noise. The general consensus is LA hadn’t had a team in 22 years so it would take time to get the area back on board. There’s something to that so I’ll give them a pass.

The game- The Rams started slowly- again- but I don’t think anyone doubted the ultimate out come. The D showed up and the offense moved the ball. That pick six should have been caught by Kupp. But you guys know how the game went down.

Overall, a great but expensive experience. Going to this palace is a bucket list item and I plan on going annually.

I’d post pics, but this site is rather archaic and doesn’t make uploading photos easy.

    hello OZ,

I too was there on Sunday… is that place awesome or what?

We’ve been going to 2 home games per season since they’ve been back….  (we went to the ATL game in week II)

SoFi IS the place to be…. i’ve reached my game quota for the year, but i love that place so much that I’m tempted to go Nov 13 vs the Cards for a 3rd home game this season..

BTW, i also attended the SF game at Levi this year.

They were in STL for 22 years.. we need to make up for lost time to see them play home games…

I didn’t see the whole game, but from what I saw, I think Cooper Kupp is good at footballing.

    Also…nice ARob siting.
