OK, I first want to preface this by stating I like what Hill has been doing and would be OK with him as our main back-up option in 2015.

There is going to be major turmoil in NY Giant land. I hope the coach decides to retire, but if he doesn’t, he’ll be fired.

No idea who they will bring in, but he most likely won’t have ties with Eli.

What would you all think of Bradford and Stacy for Eli Manning?

I think that would be a great trade for the Giants.

A young hungry QB with that has not taken a pounding in the past 1 1/2 seasons for a QB that has thrown 40 interceptions and 11 fumbles the past 1 1/2 seasons…

Sam is what the RAMS have been missing this year, not Eli Manning.

Cap hit would also be bigger with Eli than with Sam, even before Sam re-structures his contract.

First, I don’t think anyone makes that trade.

Second, I like Bradford + Hill + new qb to be named later over Eli.

I would rather have 2 guys who know the system (Bradford & Hill) than one possibly descending qb who doesn’t.

Yeah, Eli’s on his way down. I wouldn’t say he couldn’t do well with the Rams. This team is set up to play well around any decent QB. But, I wouldn’t give up much for him, and I’d rather just see what comes of the draft next year. My hope is that Bradford returns healthy, Hill is there to back him up, and a young QB is on the roster who can learn the offense and take over when needed.

I am [edit: NOT] a fan of Eli, “i am too a franchise QB, just like big brother.”

The thing I like about Eli is his big game intangibles. Ask Bellecheat who he’d rather play against, Eli or Sam B and I’ll bet he’d take Sam every time (meaning if they were both healthy enough to play the game!).

I would rather have Bradford, if he is healthy. 😉 eli throws too many intercetions. imo

I wouldn’t do that trade even if it was feasible.

Sam Bradford is our best hope for next year. There just isn’t anyone else.

We may or may not be able to improve on Hill, but even if they got a better QB than Hill, he would have to be a lot better to compensate for the experience edge that Hill has with this system and the players.

I really believe the best case scenario is a healthy Bradford, Hill, and a draft pick.

Frankly, if Jake Long wasn’t our LT, this season may have been very different.

It’s Schottenheimer’s fault for calling a pass play there.

Or possibly Spags’ fault for firing the strength and conditioning coach.

i want hill back. and i want the rams to draft a qb.

i think the rams need offensive line help and linebacker depth. beyond that my only real wish is that they get a solid quarterback. i think hill can be that guy. but i also want the rams to draft one for the future. preferably in the first round. although i would be VERY VERY happy if they drafted a blue chip guard/tackle in the first round and went qb in the second round.
