Is the guard position less of an injury risk? Would it prolong Whitworths career.

I think he’s the best tackle on the team, but the youngun proved a reasonable starter. I don’t think it happens, but it is interesting.

He’s not seriously considering moving to guard and the team said nothing about that possibility. This is just an old thing–back in the summer when Trent Williams was available for a trade, AW said I would move to guard if we got him. The comment just showed how much he respected Williams.

I will take him at his word that he would do anything for the team including the move to guard.

I don’t think it happens, but it is interesting.

The Rams did rank fifth in the league last season in avoiding games lost to injury per Football Outsiders’ metric; they had an all-virtual offseason last spring during which Justin Lovett was able to communicate individualized remote plans to prevent soft-tissue injuries.

I previously shared this but also wanted to reiterate in case of questions – new Rams QB Matthew Stafford is still allowed to organize throwing sessions off-campus, even in a virtual period.
