    I had no stream to speak of today–had to watch what I could on RedZone but it’s clear that this kid had a complete meltdown. I’m done drinking the Austin Davis Kool-Aid right now. Start Hill next week. It doesn’t matter. This team does not have their QB in house right now. They have to find someone. Bradford is expensive and an injury question mark. That leaves a weak free agency market and the draft(and they’ll pick too low to probably get the only guy who matters(Winston).

    This team has a big black hole there right now. Maybe they really do have no choice but to pay Bradford and hope for the best.

    Well, I still have hope for Bradford. As wv says draft a QB high and let him, Bradford, Hill and Davis battle it out next summer.

    Davis has hit a wall, that’s for sure. He shouldn’t be starting.

    I like Bradford, but we need another option. I am just not sure there is one out there, in the draft or anywhere else.

    pick-6 was a catchable ball. Britt
    didnt catch it though.

    I think they still need a WR.

    Britt could have helped Davis, but it was an off target pass thrown from a short distance.

    Yeah, definitely another one of AustinD’s high-balls,
    but i’d say 50 percent of it is on Britt. I’ve not
    been all that impressed with Britt this year.

    Davis is obviously, not the answer at QB, btw,
    to state the obvious. Granted he’s playing
    tough teams, on the road, without Quick, etc.
    Still, he’s just too limited.

    I’m readin Carson is probly done for the
    year. ACL, maybe. Too bad. I like the Cards.

    I don’t know but I’d say he has hit a mental wall. He looked confused and indecisive and maybe lacks confidence right now.
    Don’t know why but he doesn’t look like the same QB he was in the Tampa game, Dallas game or the first 49ers game. Not sure Schottenheimer or Fisher are putting him in the best position to succeed.

    Lost and confused but, what do you have? He’s shown he can play well. I think he’s a young QB that for what ever reason is not playing to his strengths and his coaches have done very little to help him there. Playing Hill will not save the Ram season. All they have is to try and coach Davis through this and hope he improves.

    Looks like the Rams do need to draft a QB no doubt.

    Well I think that’s a fair assessment.

    But the difference between earlier games and recent games is that defenses now have film on him…and as a result, they have the book on him.

    Coaching didn’t change. Davis’s situation did. Defenses are geared up for him now. They know how to play him. To keep battling he would have to develop counters, and…right now, it looks like he doesn’t have any counters.

    I disagree, the pass hit him in both hands no leaping acrobatics required just do your job and catch the ball keep hope alive , Britt’s head wasn’t in the game a usual. The next pick 6 was an obvious PI on Peterson.Had Brady or Manning thrown at him under those circumstances they get the call and everybody says that’s why they’re headed to Canton.At this point I wish they would put Hill in. IMO it would clear up a lot of this speculation.

    I do feel bad for the Cards. He just signed his 50 million dollar contract. Still, Stanton didn’t look too bad for them. I don’t know much about him. Palmer took some tough hits too–and he hung in there. I respect that.

    It didn’t even look like he was hit, really. Barron brushed past him sort of and he just planted his leg weird but even that didn’t look obvious.

    These ACL things are a big problem for players. As Rams fans we know this. If they ever get the bionic ACL up and running, these guys will play til they’re 50.

    Davis last 3 games.

    KC: 15/25 for 160, 1 TD, 1 I, 75.4 qb rating
    SF: 13/24 for 105, 1 TD & 2 I, 44.6 qb rating
    ARZ: 17/30 for 216, 1 TD, 2 I, 62.6 qb rating

    Ttl: 45/79 for 476, 3 TD, 5 I

    avg: 15/26.3 (56.9%) for 158 (6.02 YPA), 1 TD (3.8%), 1.67 Int (6.3%), 60.9 qb rating

    Rankings if extrapolated across 9 games:

    Completion percentage: 32nd (1 above Geno Smith)
    Yards per game: 35th (1 behind Geno Smith)
    YPA: 32nd (2 above Geno Smith)
    TD percentage: 25th
    INT percentage: 34th (last)
    QB rating: 34th, last (behind Geno Smith)

    Options

    1. Bring Bradford back in 2015 but he needs to adjust his salary
    2. Sign a veteran QB who can be a starter or trade for one. Kirk Cousins?
    3. Draft a QB, Mariotta, Hundley?

    Kirk Cousins did not impress me when I saw him with the Skins this season. Maybe trade for Matt Schaub?
    Bradford probably is the most realistic option since he is under contract and apparently they (Rams) have a desperate need for a QB. Bradford is very fortunate that Davis has blown up like he has. Can Bradford stay healthy? He’s missed half his games with the Rams. Five years in and Bradford is still a huge question mark.

    Offensive line has to be improved. Rams cannot afford to go into next season without the offensive line being addressed.
    Rams have skilled players. What they need is improved quarterback play. AZ game was totally winnable and Davis’s melt down cost them. This organization has to address the QB position and they cannot afford to be wrong again.

    Well are there free agent options at QB next year?
    Or is the draft the only avenue.

    Such a strange year/team. Earlier in the year
    a lot of us were thinking the QB situation was lookin
    pretty good but the defense was a mess.
    Now, of course things are reversed, kinda.

    Year Three, has not turned out well
    has it.

    I wonder what their record would be if Bradford
    was healthy? Would they have won more games?
    The same? Fewer?

    When your OL allows 6 sacks we might as well put Hecker back there. Davis is the perfect fit for this horrible OL as he is durable.He won’t win many but when you allow 6 sacks you don’t win anyways.

    what is up with Shawn Hill…..Is he in Fisher’s doghouse? How can the RAMS stick with Austin Davis after these past 3 games?

    are the RAMS mathematically eliminated after yesterday’s loss?

    my son cracked me up during the collapse in the 4th qtr…. “no wonder Jared Cook chip blocked him on the sidelines”

    Yeah he’s definitely the cause of a lot of them but I did see Saffold go flying about 3 yards deep in the backfield.Wells and Joseph combined for a couple of really bad whiffs as well. One thing I would have liked to see was Stacy hammer on them up 3 with seven minutes to go having been blitzing for 3 and1/2 quarters
