"If you could pencil in 9 wins" would you take it?

11 sounds much more dramatic.

But, if it’s 9, that’s what it is. 9 would likely mean playoffs with the extra wildcard. Are they doing that this season?

Tough schedule and a tough division. Lots of large livers in the NFC West these days. 9 wins could be a huge step up for a young and coming bunch of Rams.

I don’t know. Tough call. Tough division. 9 wins sounds pretty good. But the Cards won 10 last year, and they didn’t make the playoffs.

I’d like for this team to make the playoffs. Even if they’re one and done.

Nah, they can do better than 9. I’m not saying they will, but they can. I don’t think 9 wins would get them into the playoffs anyway. I’m not even sure 9 wins keeps them out of last place so why settle for an improved but still sorta mediocre record when there is a chance for much more?

Honestly, it depends on how the team plays. If I think they shoulda won more and gave games away, that’s one thing…if the schedule and the division are as tough as they look and they give us pride with how they compete, then it’s a different thing.

That’s the lake about 250 yards from my driveway. So, yes – it’s my dam lake. Or, as my grandaugher used to say “mine! mine!” I need to spend some time on it = it beckons me like nothing else.

The only water i have within a gazillion miles
is my birdbath by my driveway.

I found that Raven photo about a year ago, in a little
off-the-wall feminist-poetry magazine. I liked it so i
copied it and framed it. Ravens are ornery, you know.
I was reading yesterday, that they have been known to
eat the eyeballs out of dying cows, and baby seals.
Eyeballs are a delicacy, apparently.

Dont you think its time for a new board?
We’ve been here almost a week now. Time
to move on, i think.

If Monte Hall offered me 9 wins OR what’s behind door #2, I’ll take door #2 ……..

I am looking for that magical season where everything comes together for the Rams…..where the ball bounces their way 9 times out of 10 …….when no major injuries are incurred…… where scoring points is TOO EASY like it was in ’99 …….. where the Rams pummel the 49ers in Primetime

I’m thinking the Rams have it much easier than anyone expects .12 wins deep in the playoffs. We just got too many unstopables . I see a lot of 14-0 halftime
leads teams pressing and you know it’s time for picks and sacks just like the good old days
