I really thought he would function largely as a cheerleader. Heās not only playing, heās been out there almost every snap, and heās made plays. Itās incredible.
I agree with both of you. I did not expect anything like what actually happened with him. Basically he learned the defense in a couple of weeks and went to playing every defensive snap against SF, all after a 2 year retirement. I’m not sure we’ve ever seen anything like it.

With the win yesterday the Rams became the 11th franchise in NFL history to make it to at least 5 Superbowls, joining NE (11), DEN/DAL/PIT (8), SF (7), & MIA/ NYG/GB/WAS/Raiders (5). It was fitting that the second such victory came in the NFC Championship Game, since the other was in the 2018 NFC title game against the New Orleans Saints.
It’s like the Battle of Midway. All day every plane sent from either Midway Island or the American carriers was shot out of the sky and/or failed to do any damage at all. Then a couple of straggler squadrons of dive bombers arrived late, and within 5 minutes 3 Japanese carriers were burning and the Empire never regained the initiative in the war.
So, if you can’t do it, at least do it when it counts.

Looks like the early lines have the Rams a 3.5 – 4 point favorite. I think thatās a short line, but it makes sense to shorten it early to get some action on the underdog.
Logically, the Bengals offensive line is still just not good, and they are about to face the best defensive lineman in the game today, who is also one of the best in history. And heās not the only player in that front 7 – they have a-plenty. Itās going to be a long, tough day for the Bengals. That said, they still managed to win despite 9 sacks of Burrow a week agoā¦
Iāll be cheering for the Bengals with the knowledge that itās going to be tough for them.
