ParticipantThat was fun the first 14 minutes, then less so.
Some play calling issues. Really should have done more jet sweeps. A few play action passes on 1st down would have been okay. If you are going to throw on 3rd down at the end of the half, why the heck wouldn’t you run play action instead of empty set.
Oline was not at its best.
Darn
Hram
ParticipantAgree, but you still have to display the maturity and grit to take it because the goal is that important.
Hram
ParticipantYes
Hram
ParticipantTough game, physical.
IMO, pick six was not a horrible throw. Right defensive call against out call and a great defensive play.
Having said that, Stafford threw behind his receivers too many times in the first half and the second interception was completely on the QB.
The fumble was also a non optimal call in that some type of play action, distance was short, is likely a higher percentage play. Although he was hit quickly, Stafford has to hold onto the ball when tackled.
Fourth quarter Stafford was on. OBJ, great plays.
Our big name players made plays at the end.
I wonder at the DB confrontation. All is not well in the Rams back end.
Gritty win over a physical team at home getting healthy and fighting for the playoffs.
Hram
ParticipantI think they need to resign noteboom. I think he is good and shouldn’t break the bank.
May have enough cap space to resign one more from the Oline on top of him.
If Shelton and Jackson both have good potential that they are seeing in practice then the rams are in good shape for next year on the offensive line
Hram
ParticipantYeah, offensive line play has been impressive particularly given the concerns all of us fans seemed to have before the season began.
Hram
ParticipantDefense played great
Makeshift Oline played great.
Stafford played poorly.
Rams were the better team. Given everything they’ve gone through the past couple weeks, I’m happy with the win.
Thank you Brandon Powell!
They can’t win if they have this version of Stafford in the playoffs. It’s the interceptions and the under throws. I’d like to see him play better the next two weeks.
Hram
ParticipantYou are correct sir, I meant Evans
Hram
ParticipantPlus the last couple of weeks they’ve played different Oline combinations. That has not helped. I think it is likely Edwards should not play tackle.
They have the opportunity over the next few weeks to really get it together. If they do, the Rams are going to be very good!

ParticipantRams outplayed Seattle in the first half and tied them 3-3.
Rams outplayed Seattle in the second half and won it 17-7.
Rams outplayed Seattle.
Dline is gelling. I like that. 🙂
Hram
ParticipantGood team win.
Dline played well.
I like our RB.
Hram
ParticipantStill need work
Michel runs hard
Winning more fun
Hram
ParticipantWe just aren’t quite good enough in a number of areas.
Stafford a couple of bad decisions and a couple of bad throws.
Oline didn’t protect a few times and didn’t open holes as much as earlier in the season.
RBs were okay.
Let them gain too much on the ground on first down a couple too many times.
I think we are short one more good cornerback.

ParticipantMcVay was pissed
And
I think that is a good thing.
Hram
Participant🙁
I only wish there was some way for them to not be able to look this bad in a game next week
Hram
ParticipantDamnit!
Hram
ParticipantFascinating
Only cost is a small amount of potential cap space we could roll over into next year. Should bring a comp pick the next year when we don’t resign him.
Need to give Stafford just enough time and they would have a lethal WR corps.
Hram
ParticipantSeveral jet sweeps might have helped things
Hram
ParticipantTough loss. Some stuff to fix. Stafford off and pressing under pressure, the OL off, the playcalling off. Don’t know how much I put on the defense cause 14 points go straight to offensive mistakes.
You summed it up well.
Only thing to add, Titans defense came to play.

ParticipantVery likable fellow. Maybe he will do like Merlin and Freddie and go into acting.
Hram
ParticipantKoski as the return specialist 5th wr for now. Maybe Horne and Hakeem can both give him some pointers.
Except for the occasional drop the punt part 🙂
Hram
ParticipantSomeone has to sit in that Oceanside place in Malibu call in a couple of pics!
Well we don’t have many of our original pics left we do have a bunch of comp picks coming in so we are going to do damage on the sixth round. Plus this is the last year for a lot of the dead money so we will have some Space to resign at least some of our players.
We will be OK next year.
Hram
ParticipantAnd Lewis is doing well for the plays he is in.
Do we think, if we don’t resign him in the off-season, we get a 3rd or 4th comp pick a year later?
Hram
ParticipantDominant through the first 3/4 until we pull our starters. That includes our starting left tackle. Glad one of the rookie wide receivers got some catches. Jones did look pretty good. Wolford did look pretty bad.
Hram
ParticipantFascinating, I figured they were just trying to keep him healthy for the playoffs.

ParticipantBetter guard against trick plays!
Hram
ParticipantCould we be opening up just enough Space to trade for someone?
Hram
ParticipantGood game, the Lions played inspired.
I was surprised the Rams could not run the ball. Once they figured that out halfway through the third quarter, I was surprised the Rams did not do a ton more play action on first down, like almost every time.
Hram
ParticipantThat’s what you hope to see if your team is a contender and the other team is not.
Hram
ParticipantEveryone unit played okay. Except Hekker and the punt unit, they played well.
Stafford missed some open receivers. Finger problem maybe or are they just not in sync yet and his hit rate with the WRs will climb the more they play together.
I like Michel as a blocker. That was a good trade.
