I didn’t like them making it a thriller.

We can’t play like what we did in the 4th quarter against the 9ers next week, or we will not be in the Super Bowl

I’ve not been liking McVay’s tendency to begin calling it conservative way too early in the game.

I don’t think we will encounter the problem next week, as I expect we will have our backs against the wall most of the game.

Maybe now you will all believe when I say that Kupp is a great receiver and a valuable contributor to the Rams offense. Wow.

One of the knocks on Akers coming out of Florida State was fumbles. Until today, it hadn’t been an issue. Hopefully he got that out of his system now. Michel will be fresh next week, he didn’t have much work today.

Hopefully Rapp is back next week, I struggle knowing that Weddle is on the field.

What a legendary, unforgettable game. I’m just glad the Rams came out on the right side. However, to be honest I’d rather them have lost to the Buccaneers in this round than the Niners in the NFC Final. Does that make me a bad fan?

Anyway, I’ve got the feeling back in my left arm now. Carry on.

Kupp in his presser, called that last route the
    “love of the game route”

That last throw, is what they got Stafford for.
    He launched it.

Its the kind of play thats been intercepted this year.

But in the biggest game….there was the gunslinger.

I don’t want to beat a dead GOAT but, the Rams are pretty good…

    That wore me out.

The Rams really dominated that game, then did the only thing they could possibly do to make that game close – gag the ball up multiple times. And miss a FG.

They had multiple opportunities to put that game away, and didn’t do it.

I don’t know how many times in my life I have started praying for multiple TOs from the other team so the Rams could come back, and it never, ever happened. The lord nearly answered those desperate prayers of thousands of Bucs fans today.

    And even so…the Rams won.

With whatever … 43 seconds? How the hell did the Bucs let Kupp get over the top on that play?

    Good grief.

    What a weekend of football.

Boy, the talking heads are going to have themselves an endless party tomorrow.

Every single game was won on the last play. And that Bills/Chiefs thing. I saw only the last 4 minutes, but that was a good time to tune in, I guess.

What an epic weekend for the NFL.

    Just wow.

    Rams won.

Lost the turnover battle and won anyway.

    Stafford played really well.

    Oline pass blocked well.

Defense played great. We gave Brady 4 turnovers (3 that he could do something with) and still held them to 27. Pretty darn good.

    I like our pass rush!

Possibly the best Divisional Round in NFL history?

And so many ‘story lines.’ Aaron Rogers and Tom Brady go home.

NFL/TV suits are hoping the super bowl aint: Cincy vs Garopolo

All 4 games decided on the last play?

    Yeah, ya gotta think.

Do the Rams get this far without the two midseason deals?  OBJ and Von.

Both players have made big plays and VM has gotten better and better. I assume his ankle just needed time.

What about Desean?  I wonder if he enjoyed his 13 receptions over 10 games. 🙂

Both of the deals (VM and OBJ) have been difference makers.  If Woods had not been injured, I am not sure we would have “required” OBJ, but VM was an extra step that has been a difference maker.  I hope they find some way to resign him next season.

Something just struck me.  What is it with clutch, big game winning pass plays near the end of the game vs Tampa Bay in the playoffs?

Anybody see that Von Miller presser.  Jeezus H Christ, his arms

    are bigger than redwood trees.

I think of him as ‘fast’ and lean like Robert Quinn.

    But he’s more like Popeye.

Remember that Stafford and Suh were teammates for a number of years.

BTW I read somewhere (or heard) that there has never been an entire playoff season that had 4 games end on the last play. Last weekend, all 4 did.

Also, got to thinking how much this game must have hurt Bucs fans. You know, when your team is losing the entire game, you start to reconcile yourself to the defeat well before it is over. To go through what they did – reconciling themselves to defeat – only to have actual real life hope that they would win after all – only to have it ripped away from them…man. Bucs fans have to hate that. And any of them as old as we are that saw 70 and 99 and 22…they must not like the Rams a lot.

    • 70 and 79 are a lot closer on the keyboard than they are in real life.

Last Sunday the Rams  and Stafford did what Tom Brady and the Patriots did to the Rams in Super Bowl 36.

If u skip to the 23:39 mark of the vid, there is a truly remarkable graphic.

The Rams Defense had the highest pressure-rate in the elite 8 teams.

Now, the Titans had NINE F’ing sacks on the bengals QB.   I had assumed the titans would be at the top of the graphic.   But no.  Its the Rams.
