Two 3rd rounders. Would be huge. Especially since the Rams have only four picks this year…a 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th. I don’t remember where they went. Peters and Talib?

As the Los Angeles Rams gear up for Saturday night’s playoff game against the Cowboys, their future beyond the 2019 NLF Postseason is already starting to take shape.
According to Over The Cap, which released its final compensatory picks projections for the 2019 NFL Draft, the Rams will get two third-round picks as well as an additional seventh-round pick for the performances of former cornerback Trumaine Johnson, wide receiver Sammy Watkins and safety Cody Davis.
Johnson started just 10 games for the Jets in 2019 and led the team in interceptions (four), but was seen by many as a disappointment given he was guaranteed $34 million in the first year of his five-year, $72.5 million deal. Watkins finished the regular season in Kansas City with 40 catches for 519 yards and three touchdowns, but spent a good chunk of the season out with injuries. He is expected to miss at least the Divisional Round with a foot injury. Davis played in all 16 of the Jaguars’ games this season at safety, but never started and only recorded five solo tackles.
Not counting the compensatory picks, the Rams will enter this year’s draft will just four picks — a first, a fourth, a fifth and a sixth. Adding in these picks would give the Rams seven draft spots.
But in the mean time, the Rams are gearing up for Saturday’s playoff game inside the LA Coliseum, where they’ll try to earn their first postseason win since 2004 and break a decades-old tie with the Cowboys in postseason competition (the two teams are tied 4-4 since 1973).
The 2019 NFL Draft will take place on April 25-27 in Nashville, Tennessee.
