    I want the Cowboys.

    I expect the Bears.

So that’s the Rams with the Saturday-night game against either Chicago, Dallas or Seattle on Jan. 12.

So, the Rams will be eager spectators next week. The following week, they’ll host either Chicago or (if the Bears lose) the winner of the Seattle-Dallas game.

McVay says the Rams are “better positioned” in these playoffs because of the bye, which gives them the ability to rest and get to work on a potential opponent. But also last year’s experience will help. “We’ve been in this type of setting.”

None of the 6 highest paid QBs in the league made the playoffs in 2018. They combined for 31 wins.

    Aaron Rodgers: $33.5M
    Matt Ryan: $30M
    Kirk Cousins: $28M
    Jimmy Garoppolo: $27.5M
    Matthew Stafford: $27M
    Derek Carr: $25M

    The wildcard round:

    THE SCHEDULE

    Wild-card Playoffs

    Saturday, Jan. 5

Indianapolis at Houston, 3:35 p.m. (ESPN)

Seattle at Dallas, 7:15 p.m. (FOX)

    Sunday, Jan. 6

    L.A. Chargers at Baltimore, 12:05 p.m. (CBS)

Philadelphia at BEARS, 3:40 p.m. (NBC)

So if Chicago wins, Rams play Chicago.

If Chicago loses, Rams play Seattle or Dallas.

I think Chicago wins so that’s who I expect to see.

No matter who they play, it might be either the 4th ranked defense/3rd in points (Bears), or the 6th ranked defense/4th in points (Dallas).

I see Seattle winning too btw. But if the Bears win too, Seattle goes to New Orleans.

It is the team with the suxiest QB vs the team with no QB. Chicago beats Philly.

Well its GOING to be the Bears. Foles season ends ugly this time.

Its a heckuva matchup. Great Defense against the Rams in LA.

Goff and the OLine have a second chance.

I wasnt sure about the Bears defense until late in the season. But man, they are a great D. Best in the NFL, I’d say. It would not surprise me to see a game like the 99 Bucs/Rams game. Ugly…and gut-wrenching and…Ugly.

Really tough to call the Hawks Cowboys game. I dunno. I suppose, I’d go with Wilson.

I’m fine with any team the Rams play. I’m not scared of any of the matchups. However, the team that I would least want them to face in the playoffs is Seattle. Beating a team three times in a season is difficult, and the Seahawks should go into that game with a lot of confidence given the outcome of the other two meetings.

Our offense has not played well against teams strong defensive front 7’s.

Sure they have. They played well against Seattle x 2, Minnesota, Kansas City, New Orleans, etc. All of those teams have strong front 7’s and the Rams scored at least 33 points against all of them.

It’s going to be the Bears, and I want it to be the Bears.

There is no easy path this year. Whether it’s the Bears, or Seahawks, or Cowboys, the Rams are going to struggle to win.

But I don’t think the Bears can handle temperatures in the High 60s. That team is just not built for that kind of weather, and I think it will take a toll on them. Also…Todd Gurley, and Andrew Whitworth have fooled everyone by pretending to have injuries, and Chicago won’t be prepared for them.

Anyway, Seattle is the team I least want to see as well.

Not to mention the relentless, 75 degree breeze blowing in off the Pacific.

The Bears are used to 40 mph winds coming off Lake Michigan creating windchills of -15 degrees.

I got news for ya. 75 is a MUCH higher number than -15. In fact, it’s almost twice as high.

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bears just turned tail and flew home after being embraced by the warm air rising off of the tarmac when they open the plane door.

Yeah, what is the record for cold weather teams being forced to play outdoors in the south in January? Not good I bet. Can they even play when forced to take off their gloves? Or when they CAN’T see their breath?

Oh all that fluid dripping from your foreheads into your eyes, that’s sweat, boys. Yeah SWEAT in JANUARY. Get used to it, it’s a long game.
