Please forfeit and save us the embarrassment

This game could get real uglyRams looking to right the ship after 2 losses
————-
Rams have an incentive after these losses. Home field advantage and byes are in play.
————–
I will watch the Cards first offensive drive only,,,they will probably score that early, and then the wheels will fall off again. The Rams have a sore azz from last night, so it will get ugly fast for the Cards. Rams > 37 Cards > 10
————-
I hope the Rams score 40, nobody gets hurt and Larry gets his catches. Other than that, blah…Anybody want my Rams tickets??
Make an offer
————
You’re going to pay me how much again to take them? 😆
————-
Feel bad for people with Rams players on their team in the championship. A 1st quarter blowout sounds about right for next week’s game
————
So you would not be a fan of the Lions vs Gladiators? If Card fans show up, I would love to see a mass display of thumbs down.
————-
don’t miss out on this game of the year folks
———–
I’ll take them. I’m sure my son can find some teammates that would love to go to a Cardinals game. Especially what might be the last chance to see Fitz play.
———–
If I was in Arizona, I’d definitely be there… just because why not and my Dad and I always go to the game if they’re in town when I am.But I’m surprised more people aren’t going just to possibly see Larry’s last game at home. I don’t think there’s much of a chance in hell of coming back and I wish I could see his last stand and hear the LARRY, LARRY, LARRY chant one final time reverberate through the stadium.

The Goff ComparisonEveryone is arguing that Rosen’s poor performance this year can be solved if we replace Wilks with an offensive guru.
Breakdown:
GS QBrec Cmp Att Cmp% Yds TD IntGoff 2016:
7 0-7-0 112 205 54.6 1089 5 7Rosen so far:
11 3-8-0 187 336 55.7 2042 10 14With only 4 more games than Goff, Rosen has doubled both rookie Goffs yards, touchdowns, and interceptions. He has also done so with a slightly better completion percentage.
Additionally, Goff was working with a similar arsenal of weapons: a good running back (Gurley) and a subpar WR corps (Kenny Britt had a 1000 yard season).
I think people need to relax with the David Carr damage comparison, and realize that Rosen has a lot of confidence, exuded clearly on draft day. He will love trying a revenge year with a new coach that tailors the offense to him. That’s what our worry should be right now; not that Rosen is broken.
Let the rookie play it out; he’s tough, and you will only damage the most important trait—his self confidence—if you bench him.
————-
The point of this thread was not to say Rosen is a guaranteed QB of the future. Honestly, Goff is not a great QB to be compared to—when McVays scheme breaks down, Goff seems flustered and breakdowns with it. The last few weeks, especially last night, showcase that Goff is not the next Tom Brady.Nevertheless, Rosen can be a great system quarterback. And that can win you Super Bowls in this league—look what the eagles accomplished last year.
————
Rosen is better than Goff the last three weeks, wrap your head around that! Goff has the lowest QBR these last three weeks, with 1 TD and 7 INTs!————————————————————————————-
Keep him as far away from the Rams as possible…
————-
Rosen should absolutely NOT play against the Rams!!!It’s an injury waiting to happen.
———–
I wouldn’t even put a cardboard printout of Rosen behind this O-line..
———–
I’ve wanted to see this weeks ago. Because at pro football focus they rate the Card’s O-line at 32nd out of 32 teams — dead last.So lets please end this horrifying slaughter. Didn’t Rosen get 2 concussions last year at UCLA?
————
2 hrs of game time left in the season won’t benefit him at all. Just let the kid sit and throw the giraffe to the wolves.
————
Wonder what the Vegas odds are of Donald/Suh breaking his sternum? Not that we want that to happen.Good thing he doesn’t have any history of Concussions…
————
Put in Wilks at QB
I would pay my life savings to see him yell about “execution” while getting pile driven by darnold.
————
It’s obvious to me…
The Cardinals should be starting Nick Foles. They’d probably still be eligible to win the Super Bowl this year if he was starting.
———–
I damn guarentee the Rams will break him.
———–
If Rosen dies, do we get any compensatory picks?I’d much prefer the #1 overall pick in 2020, so maybe we can work something out.
———-
All passes should be from the shotgun vs. the Rams
Rosen should be instructed to throw it into the stands if nobody gets open in two seconds. And JJ Nelson should be the target on 90% of the passes. He won’t be back next year, so if the Rams are going to beat up on any of our skill players, we should give them Nelson as the sacrificial lamb…———
If CJ Anderson averages more than 4 ypc at half time, Holcomb and Wilks should be fired at halftime and let Larry Foote call plays to finish the game.
————-
Cards will play their hearts out and an upset is in the air
————
I need gurley to playLeague Championship round
————–Could Wilks save his job with wins against the Rams and Hags?
I really should be spotting money on the Rams and Seahawks to cover the spread. And to answer your question, NO, two wins with divine intervention should not save his job.
———–
getting bosa would be a nice consolation for this apocalypse of a season.
———–
Can pigs fly and will monkeys fly out of someone’s butt on this forum
———–
I’ve seen crazier things happen but the Rams are coming off of a tough loss at home. They’re going to beat up on us like we owe them money.
————
I had a nightmare last night…It was vivid and felt so real. It involved the Cardinals winning this week. A couple of defensive touchdowns by the Cards and a miracle happened. We lost the number one pick…I’m still disturbed by it.———–
This is actually a very solid pickup….it makes one wonder why the Rams cut him….hmmmmm. Beggars cant be choosy. It should be noted that we have the #1 pick therefore we have the #1 waiver claim. There wouldve been a feeding frenzy to claim him if not us.This is more of a 2019 signing. He could very well slide in as our #2-#3 WR (depending whos #1 after Larry retires). And he immediately is our special teams returner. Good signing. Still Keim gets fired.
And MAN what a fall from grace for Cooper. Goes from a superbowl contender to the worst team in the league. Life comes at you fast
————
I think the Rams cut him because they needed room for CJ Anderson at RB while Gurley is beat up, he is just off IR and working back into KR shape, they bought a very full roster for this year’s run, and have Kupp for returns in the future. Rich team problems, and as the poor team we got first crack at him.
————
No brainer in my mind. He is under contract for $720k next year. Why not bring him and kick the tires. I told my friend we should scoop him up, didnt think it would actually happen.
———-
People were mocking this on social media, I actually really like the pickup. Developmental receiver, but in the mean time can be a contributor on special teams. I do think it spells the end for TJ Logan if Cooper can get up to full fitness.
———–
When I heard Cooper was signed, my heart skipped a beat. Then I heard Rams “receiver”. Whew.
————
A great kick returner can give you an average of five yards better field position per return. Cooper was a great returner coming out of college in 2016 and by 2017 led the league and was a special teams Pro Bowler. Now just 23 years old, and under contract next year for just over league minimum money. What would you pay for an extra 5 yard penalty awarded to us each return? An extra free 25-35 yards per game?On top of that, he’s not the typical little shifty guy who lasts a few years before getting hurt, a tiny WR or RB or CB who can’t contribute elsewhere. He’s strong and disciplined, a tough straight line runner who can develop into a decent sized weapon for short initial gains with big after the catch potential. Critical for Josh considering Fitz is currently our guy for that and may be gone soon, and considering our TE situation.
There is no downside or risk in this pickup.
————
We’re like the beggar on the street when the rich guy goes by and hands us a nickel. I guess it’s better then the pennies we have.
————
I also like this pickup especially since JJ Nelson will be gone. Next yr Pharoh could be a slot receiver with speed — I really like the fact that Cooper and Kirk both can run jet sweep action and allows whomever the OC will be to setup very effective WR screens to either side of a formation if Cooper/Kirk are on opposite sides… provides flexibility and more than adequate upgrade from JJ Nelson.Hey — I think SK might have gotten back at the Rams to somewhat makeup for the idiocy of saving a roster spot (few yrs ago) for Drew Butler and allowing Marqui Christian to be selected off waivers.
————————-
There is nothing about the 2018 season that is worth saving. If ARI competes v. the Rams and Hawks, and 2 more losses are almost assured, then the end of 2018 won’t stink so bad. Stink bad = downwind from a 10,000-head eastern Nebraska stockyard on a hot summer day. I’ve been there.
————-
Gurley is most likely to sit this one out. McVay wants to save the wear and tear on Gurley for the Playoffs. Give his sore knee some much needed reat when the games really count.Does that mean the Cards will win? Not really, but it will make it a bit less of a blow out. Now if CJ and/or Golden can sack Goff a couple times early in the game, then it might be at least a respectable showing by the Cards.
And please Leftwich get Fitz involved early in this game, Please.
————-
Will McVay save his players for the playoffs? I don’t think the Rams will take any chances. It doesn’t matter if they lose. Still get the bye if they lose. I’m thinking the Cardinals will play hard and try to win.I hope they don’t win, but there is a possibility they will. That would kinda suck.. imho
————
This is what worries me as the Rams have looked horrible of late losing to the Bears and Eagles the past two weeks. We are at home and might just win a meaningless game. Although the Rams are playing for a bye to rest some of their players and the Bears and Saints both hold advantage over them in head to head so hopefully the Rams realize this and don’t take us lightly. The Seahawks will be eliminated from the playoffs after this week and won’t have anything to play for so that worries me as well. Both games are trap games for us. LOL.
