    GM Les Snead’s update on the Aaron Donald saga on Rams TV: “Same thing we’ve been saying. Getting close. We want him here as soon as possible, get prepared to play the Raiders, and we want him to stay a long time. So that’s in the works.”

    Snead: “We went into the offseason with the intention to improve… but if you had (told) me we’d have an offseason where we’d end up with a Brandin Cooks, with an Ndamukong Suh, with a Marcus Peters, with an Aqib Talib, I might have said ‘Nah, I don’t believe you on that one.”

    Snead said the Rams feel “very comfortable” going into the season without nearly all of their starting offense playing a preseason snap. Credits McVay for “regulated” “game-like situations” “on the practice field .” @CVRamsClub @DowntownRams

    Asked about what keeps him up at night as a GM, Snead: “I think our starting lineup’s really good… it’s inevitable, somebody is going to go down during the year. We’re probably going to be relying on a few of our 11 rookies that we drafted predominately 4th through 7th round.”
