    (EZ is Ernie Zampese) :

The Coryell offense is alive and well. The concepts translate to the WCO But are called differently. The key part of EZ’s offense was creating mismatches with personnel groups, movement and many other tactics, and McVay is a master at doing just this but under the WCO terminology. So, evolution has happened , very similar stretches and triangles for attack are exactly the same. What is new are the fade stops verses the comebacks that we used. The timing of comebacks takes sooooo long to get dialed and the fade stops are the replacement that i really wished we had. So jealous!!

Great offenses have many similarities and it involves Five guys that can run as well as catch extremely well and also demands a guy who can dish it and who understands the mismatch. Payton Manning is probably the best at understanding the latter. If you don’t have the five guys…then your handcuffed and McVay knows this the best and is willing to act to get his guys!!
