    I read a children’s book on HorseShoe-Crabs.

Horse Shoe crabs live about 15 to 20 years, unless humans or sharks kill them.

Native Americans discovered that HScrabs make good fertilizer for plants.

European Americans didnt like HS crabs getting tangled in their fishing nets so they put a bounty of them and ‘harvested’ them. They left the bodies to dry on the beach and then took the crabs to factories to be ground up for fertilizer. Huge pyramids of bodies piled up as the genocide continued from the 1800’s through the 1920’s until the population dwindled so low it was no longer profitable.

    Humans.

Horseshoe crabs arent really crabs. Crabs and HScrabs are both Arhropods but HSC’s are really more like scorpions and spiders.

They dont sting with that tail of theirs. They are pretty harmless to humans.

They have ten eyes and blue blood.

Human scientists are very interested in their blood, and human scientists like to experiment on them without their permission.

HorseShoe crabs were old when the Dinosaurs were here.

I suspect Horse Shoe crabs were here, before the big bang. Its possible they caused the big bang, though its just a theory.

Very cool wv. I did not realize that horseshoe crabs were so ancient and so big, and not actually crabs.
