    I say it’s possible.

Part of the team seems to have given up. Maybe they show up for this one.

I would put Britt and Havenstein on IR and bring up Battle and Williams. There is no one new that I want to see on defense. But there are a number of players on offense I would like to see. I have no hope that we win. But it is always best to end the season with a win. A lose is an ugly image to leave in your mind until next season.

Still digesting what this year means. I (and a lot of you) thought that the Rams were going to content for at least a Wild Card spot.

    Instead, we got this.

Specials are the only area where I think we have sound coaching, and I’d love to see them keep Fassel, but if they purge the entire coaching staff, I’ll be fine with it.

If I were the owner, I’d direct Fassel to sit Goff and play Mannion for this last game; Goff will be in an entirely new O next year, let Mannion audition for the number 2 next year.

i think this team is defeated. i’ll be surprised if they won.

having said that it sure would be nice to see goff lead this offense and give us something to think about going into the offseason.

    Definitely possible.

    But Boras is still OC.

    Not likely, then.

And if Mannion puts up 28 points?

That would make Goff look really bad and make for a horrible public relations spectacle going forward.

Goff could just be better than Mannion. That is not my view, but it could be true. But, Goff will have fail first before Mannion will get a shot. That or he gets hurt. Odds are that he will get hurt and not finish all 16 games next year. (more if we go to the playoffs ;)) They will hire a coach that will do everything possible to develope Goff. You don’t invest all that draft capital and not do that. imo

I don’t see the Rams winning this Sunday.

No, the Rams can’t win. The offense is an ineffectual mess and half the players’ minds are probably already on a golf course.

if i am kroenke, i let the coach decide who starts.

if coaches feel mannion is clearly better, kroenke and demoff should stay the fuck out of the conversation. sit in their seats and let the coaches do their job.

    Eh.

The Rams are probably better off losing and getting a better 2nd round pick. It’s a meaningless game.

If they can move up a spot or two in the 2nd round it’s that much closer to a 1st round pick.
