Yay! It looked much worse than a sprain.

Good news for Rams – Trumaine Johnson avoided injury according to team source. Suffered a minor sprain

I would like to hear something official on this but I assume he doesn’t play in the Detroit game.

Report: Tru Johnson has high-ankle sprain

    http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/7530/trumaine-johnson

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports Rams LCB Trumaine Johnson will be sidelined a “few weeks” with a high-ankle sprain.

A high-ankle sprain was always the most likely diagnosis after a fracture was ruled out. Johnson will miss multiple games, something the Rams tacitly confirmed by claiming CB Dwayne Gratz off waivers. It’s a big loss, as Johnson has been amongst the best corners in the league this season. It means more snaps for E.J. Gaines and Troy Hill, and perhaps Gratz.

At least the Rams have a bye week after London. Perhaps he returns after that rest week. That’s would be only two games missed. High sprains can really linger though, so who knows?

Well, i dont think i need to explain to anyone what will happen
if the Rams have to play with a backup-QB, three limping DLinemen and only one starting caliber CB.

I think we’d best savor this winning record while we can. 🙂

Good call. Unfortunate as it is.

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.

Reminds me of the 4-0 start in ’95 in St.L. Ended up 7-9.

They sure can…I have read where it was said it would have been better to have a break than a sprain.

    Just depends.

Tru is the leader of the DB’s and was showing last season was no fluke….they need this guy and EJ together for stretch.
