New England Patriots @ Indianapolis Colts 8:30 PMOctober 17, 2015 at 1:52 pm #32487bnwBlockedShows the Seattle game late so I’ll try to watch it.
The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.
Sprinkles are for winners.
October 17, 2015 at 2:36 pm #32488nittany ramModeratorI might watch the Denver-Cleveland game. This is a chance to see how the Rams’ next opponent looks against a good team.
October 17, 2015 at 7:44 pm #32495wvParticipantI wouldn’t mind seeing the Browns game.
I dont believe I’ve wanted to actually see
a Browns games since….um….Brian Sipe?w
vOctober 18, 2015 at 9:34 am #32533znModeratorIf some damm team or other hadn’t taken out Roethlisberger, then the Cards/Steelers game would be “must see tv.” For me.
And I don’t want to see Patz v. Colts. I get enough of the Patz as it is.
October 18, 2015 at 11:35 am #32546PA RamParticipantThese games are all kinda…blech.
My local television stations are offering the Redskins/Jets game at 1 o’clock.
Or…if that doesn’t get your heart racing…Bills/Bengals.
Late game?
Ravens/9ers.
I may flip back and forth. I’ll track my football pool picks and cheer for me to make money. That’s how I’ll watch today.

That could be good, though odds say the Bengals thrash em.
October 18, 2015 at 1:43 pm #32550znModeratorI ended up with Washington/Jets. Jets have the #1 ranked defense. Washington #9. Jets are Ryan Fitzpatrick’s team du jour. Not compelling reasons to watch, but, the remote just drifted that way so I went with it.

vCleveland is better than people are giving them credit for.
Still beatable though.

with a 75 yard bomb — Den 23 Cleve 20. Late in 4thOctober 18, 2015 at 3:57 pm #32566wvParticipantBrowns driving — three mins left. Good game.
…two minutes left — Browns on Denver’s 14 yard line.
Cleveland has a tough team. McCown is capable.
I like it. The Rams will have their hands full.
Lets see if they are up to it.
Cleveland will kick their ass
if they play poorlyw

vINT.
McCown will do that under pressure.
Cleveland has a good OL, but then Denver has the top pass-rushing defense.
October 18, 2015 at 5:23 pm #32579InvaderRamModeratordenver’s offense might be worse than the rams.

Johnny Football is drinking again,
Cleveland loses a gut-wrencher in OTin Cleveland, and Rams had a Bye and play at home.
Now dammit, good teams are supposed
to win games like this.Right?

vOctober 18, 2015 at 5:58 pm #32581canadaramParticipantI watched the Browns game. I thought they looked pretty good vs. Denver. The Rams will need to figure out how to contain Gary Barnidge. Just like I thought they would When the schedule come out back in April. 😁
I’m glad that he Browns had an emotional game, but I’d rather the Rams be facing them coming off an emotional win. Hopefully the Browns are drained either way. Personally, I see the Rams having their work cut out for them vs Cleveland.
October 18, 2015 at 5:59 pm #32582znModeratorNow dammit, good teams are supposed
to win games like this. You know, before 2014, they mostly did.
By my reckoning, in 2012-13, they had 8 games like that. Meaning, home games against teams they ought to beat. They won 5 of them.
2013:
Jacksonville W
Tennessee L
Chicago W
Tampa Bay W2012:
Washington W
Arizona (ie that year) W
NY Jets L
Minnesotta LOctober 18, 2015 at 6:49 pm #32583InvaderRamModeratordenver’s offense might be worse than the rams.

vyou would think. the rams should beat the browns.
October 19, 2015 at 9:37 am #32591nittany ramModeratorMy impression of the Browns was that they aren’t good but they are scrappy. They won’t come into the ED ready to roll over. The Rams can’t afford to sleep walk through this game.

I dont even wanna think about the state of the message-boards,
if the Rams/Fisher lose at home,
after a bye, to the Browns.w

vI think there’s a good chance they will do just that.
If they do, I think a reasonable response would simply be to say, “Yeah. Saw that one coming.”
It’s a very simple situation. If the Rams are serious about being competitive, they’ll make a statement in this game. They have the talent for that.
If they don’t … we’ll know that the Fisher Pattern is still in effect. Fail. Tease. Fail. Repeat.
By virtue of the absurd ...
October 19, 2015 at 4:09 pm #32603nittany ramModeratorAlbeit I’ve only seen them once but watching the Browns against Denver I was sorta reminded of the Rams in 2012. Not real talented but dangerous nonetheless. This game is no gimmee.

Well, i cant see them making the playoffs if they start 2-4.
So, its essentially, basically, probably a ‘must win’
with regard to the playoffs this year.w

i agree. not a must win game. but definitely a statement game. lose and they’ve only shown that they’re the same inconsistent team that has frustrated us in the past.
